La Caleta is a beach located in the historic center of the city of Cádiz (Andalucía, Spain). It was natural harbor where boats are anchored Phoenicians, Carthaginians and Romans. Is Beach lesser extent throughout the city, and isolated from the rest. Its main attraction is its location, a scenario that has inspired musicians and poets such as Isaac Albéniz, José María Pemán, Paco Alba or Carlos Cano. The flanking the castles of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina, facing the old Hospital de Mora, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and by the Faculty of Science Campus Labour Cádiz college of the same name, in the neighborhood Vine . It has been the scene of several movies such as 007: Die Another Day, Alatriste, Manolete and El Amor Brujo. Cadiz consider it one of the most emblematic places of the city, with recurring theme songs of Carnival. One of the things that makes this beach so unique is that each of its stones has a name, for example: the quadratic stone, Reonda stone basin, stone Hedgehog, the lace, the slab, etc. In the years before the Bicentennial of the Constitution of 1812, Caleta hanging over the threat of works promoted by the Consortium of the Bicentennial of the Constitution of 1812. These works include, as long as the original project, published in the BOP Cadiz, an extension with four points of intersection of Paseo Fernando Quiñones (the road leading to the Castle of San Sebastián), pouring cement on the oyster stone, and a dock for boats up to 15 meters in the north face of the said castle with dredging accordingly. This news was answered with multiple public demonstrations by university professors and lecturers and especially through the mobilization of the Platform Save the Caleta, who got into the limited room for one week, about 1,600 claims against the dock project, and leads you collected more than 4,000 signatures in an attempt to protect the beach and scenic, biological, and cultural environment through the declaration of it as Protected Natural Monument. Finally, there was no work for modifying the structure of the Playa de la Caleta.

In ( Cadiz - Spain ) La Caleta Beach Halle Berry emerges from the water in James Bond's Die Another Day. It isn't Cuba. It was filmed at La Caleta Beach in Cadiz, Spain. We enjoyed walking to San Sebastian Castle with the waves crashing along the walkway. The water didn't look murky, it was clean. But a darker blue than Thailand or the Caribbean.
Relaxing on the beach, looking at the boats, listening to waves with almost nobody around us, feeling the sand.
La Caleta is a delightful sandy beach and the only one in the historic part of Cadiz. The sea is safe for swimming and it's great for looking out over the fishing boats and the lighthouse and surrounding castles.
(Cadiz - Spain) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Cadiz.

The Spa building of Nuestra Señora de la Palma and del Real, built in the 1920s, is characterized by its location on La Caleta Beach in the municipality of Cádiz (Spain) and its long side galleries that seem to embrace the sea.
It was inaugurated in 1926 and replaced the traditional Baños del Real, a wooden installation that already existed at the beginning of the 19th century, together with those of La Palma, of similar structure, which were later unified under the name of Real and from La Palma.
