A short cinematic 6K aerial drone video of the Lake Iseo or Iseo lake (Italian: Lago d'Iseo) is the fourth largest lake in Lombardy, Italy, fed by the Oglio river.
It is in the north of the country in the Val Camonica area, near the cities of Brescia and Bergamo. The lake is almost equally divided between the Provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. Northern Italy is known for its heavily industrialised towns and in between there are several natural lakes. Lake Iseo retains its natural environment, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake.
There are several medieval towns around the lake, the largest being Iseo and Sarnico. A notable tourism sector has emerged.
Sarnico is the home of the famous luxury brand Riva, maker of some of the most stunning boats in the World.
The roots of classic Riva yachts go right back to 1842, when a young Pietro Riva began repairing and building yachts on the Lake. But it was his great-grandson, the legendary Carlo Riva, who had the vision to create a range of wooden-hulled speedboats that were to become the epitome of the jet-set era of the 1950s and 1960s.
Carlo Riva was inspired by the products of the American yacht builder Chris-Craft, for which he was an agent, and he used Chris-Craft and Chrysler engines in his classic Riva yachts.
Some of the most famous Riva boats bare names such as: Tritone, Aquarama, Junior, Aquariva, Rivamare.
A road has been carved into the side of the mountains that travel to circumnavigate the entire lake.
In the middle of the lake there are Montisola island, Loreto isle and San Paolo isle (which compound the Monte Isola municipality). There is easy access via the regular running lake ferries.
The Floating Piers, an art installation by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, was open to the public at Lake Iseo for 16 days in June and July 2016 and it was a massive success, bringing a huge public to the lake.

ROBANCA TRAVELOGUES: Lake Iseo - Small but Beautiful. A driving holiday in the Italian Lake District, centred at Iseo Town on the shore of Lake Iseo. Driving and cycling, we visited the lakeside towns and villages of Sulzano, Sale Marasino, Marone, Vello, Sarnico, Predore, Tavernola, Riva di Solto & Lovere. Also, we visited the Island of Monte Isola, walking around the perimeter and to the shrine on the summit. We explored Peschiera Maraglio, Carzano, Siviano, Sensole, Senzano, Cure, the shrine of the Madonna Della Ceriola and viewed the islands of Di Loreto and San Paolo. We also spent a day in the medieval city of Bergamo .

Northern Italy is renowned for its heavily industrialised towns and in between there are several stunning lakes. Lake Iseo remains one of outstanding natural beauty, with its lush green mountains surrounding the crystal clear lake.
There are several medieval towns around the lake, the largest being Iseo and Sarnico. These are filled with bars, shops, cafes, hotels, B&B's and several campsites running alongside the lake shore. The Franciacorta wine region, just minutes away from the lake produces some of the worlds finest sparkling wines. The road north to Switzerland used to run along the side of the lake, and stories about entire families being swallowed up by the murky waters abound. A much safer road, carved into the side of the mountains, now exists.

Incuneato tra le province di Bergamo e Brescia, in fondo alla Valcamonica, si estende l’ampio bacino lacustre del lago d’Iseo noto anche come Sebino.
Le sue acque lambiscono le sponde di Monte Isola, la più estesa isola lacustre d’Italia, unica in Europa per altezza e caratterizzata da una vegetazione tipicamente mediterranea che la vede rivestirsi dei fiori di ginestra con l’arrivo della primavera e sbocciare di eriche con l’autunno. Intrigante e semplice da percorrere è la variegata rete di sentieri che dal centro abitato dell’isola conduce al Santuario della Madonna di Ceriola, costruita a 400 m sul livello del lago, e dalla quale si gode un panorama imperdibile.
Circumnavigando il bacino si passa dalla sponda bresciana a quella bergamasca. La prima particolarmente varia, caratterizzata da estese aree coltivate a vigne, frutteti, olivi e fiori. Ad esse si succedono deliziosi boschi di castagni al di sopra delle cui chiome sono visibili le dorsali delle montagne che sovrastano la zona con le loro linee arrotondate.
La seconda, altrettanto multiforme, si apre in brevi intervalli di spiaggia per poi tratteggiare, poco più in là, profili selvaggi di rupi a strapiombo sull’acqua e aspri speroni di roccia spezzati

One word of advice, if you do go, pick a time when the Lake Iseo Floating Piers are out. What a feat!
Visiting the Italian lakes but keen to avoid the typical tourist trap? Lake Iseo is a beautiful Italian lake with so much to offer both the relaxed traveler and the more adventurous. We tackled two hike in one day while I was 6 months pregnant. The first was a hilly hike along the Pirimidi Di Zone trail to see the incredible natural pyramids. The second was a flat walk along the East side of Lake Iseo itself, passing roller bladers, runners, walkers, cyclists, fishermen, and divers along the way. We also visited some of the local towns dotted around lake Iseo and simply fell in love with this beautiful place. It's easily a great alternative to Lake Como and Lake Garda with so much to see and do.

My newest toy, and new love of my life is my DRONE I highly recommend the 'fly more' package, I didn't go for it and then went back to buy more batteries because flight time of the standard package just isn't enough.
For steady shots I use my GoPro 5 along with the KARMA GRIP:
My main camera for nice looking shots is a Canon 70D: And never underestimate the difference it makes to get a good quality SD CARD:
Also sound on the Canon is not good enough for video so I use the SHURE MIC: this is the best thing I ever bought.
When vlogging I need an easy to carry, ready to go camera and so I have a specific VLOGGING CAMERA:

The Floating Piers, il nuovo progetto di Christo in Italia, reinterpreterà il Lago d'Iseo per 16 giorni dal 18 giugno al 3 luglio 2016. 70.000 metri quadri di tessuto giallo cangiante, sostenuti da un sistema modulare di pontili galleggianti formato da 200.000 cubi in polietilene ad alta densità, comporranno una installazione che si svilupperà a pelo d'acqua seguendo il movimento delle onde; l'opera avrà una lunghezza di 4,5 chilometri totali. I visitatori potranno fruire del lavoro percorrendo la sua intera lunghezza, che si sviluppa in circolo da Sulzano a Monte Isola e poi fino all'isola di San Paolo. Dalle montagne che circondano il lago si potrà avere uno sguardo “a volo d'uccello” su The Floating Piers osservandone angoli nascosti e prospettive inaspettate.
The Floating Piers, the new project by Christo in Italy, reinterpret Lake Iseo for 16 days from June 18 to July 3, 2016. 70,000 meters of iridescent yellow fabric panels, supported by a modular system of floating pontoons from 200,000 cubic format high density polyethylene, compose an installation that will develop on the water by following the movement of the waves; the work will have a total length of 4.5 kilometers. Visitors will enjoy the job along its entire length, which extends in a circle from Sulzano to Monte Isola and then to the island of St. Paul. From the mountains surrounding the lake you can have a look bird's eye on The Floating Piers observing hidden corners and unexpected perspectives.

Il lago d'Iseo o Sebino (Lach d'Izé o Sebì in lombardo) è un bacino lacustre dell'Italia Settentrionale, situato in Lombardia.
Ha come principale immissario ed emissario il fiume Oglio. Ha una superficie di 65,3 km² e una profondità massima di 251 metri (5° per profondità in Italia). È situato a 180 m di quota nelle Prealpi, posto in fondo alla Val Camonica; si incunea tra le province di Bergamo e di Brescia e ospita la più grande isola lacustre naturale dell'Italia nonché la più alta isola lacustre d'Europa: Monte Isola, cui fanno da satelliti a nord e a sud i due isolotti di Loreto e di San Paolo. Inoltre contiene più di 500 specie animali differenti.

Isola di Loreto, l’oasi da fiaba nel cuore del lago d’Iseo
Chi non vorrebbe vivere su un'isola deserta? L'isola di Loreto sembra uscita proprio da una fiaba, con il suo castello, un rigoglioso giardino esotico e il porticciolo. Questa perla incastonata nel lago d'Iseo è registrata nella mappa censuaria di Siviano, una frazione del Comune di Monte Isola, in provincia di Brescia; non è visitabile ma i turisti possono ammirarla dall'esterno. Un posto che ha attraversato i secoli, ammaliando, con la sua bellezza, tanti che hanno cercato di tenere solo per sé quell’angolo di paradiso. Anche l'attore hollywoodiano, George Clooney, nel 2010 avrebbe voluto acquistarla per donarla come pegno del suo amore alla compagna di allora, Elisabetta Canalis. Il destino dell’Isola di Loreto però sembra scritto nella sua storia; un luogo incantato che in fondo è di tutti e di nessuno, ed è legato indissolubilmente soltanto a lui: il lago d'Iseo che la custodisce e la fa brillare, come un tesoro dal valore inestimabile.

Isola di Loreto, lago d’Iseo: un misterioso luogo d’incontro di pescatori, mercanti e pellegrini
L'isola di Loreto sorge nel Lago d'Iseo, a nord di Montisola, ed è di proprietà privata (Famiglia Pesenti - Italcementi).
Alla fine del Quattrocento l'isola fu acquistata dalle Suore di S.Chiara di Brescia, che vi installarono un convento. La struttura venne però dismessa già entro il 1580 quando durante la visita di Carlo Borromeo si ricorda la presenza di un eremita di nome Pietro.
L'isola è registrata nella mappa censuaria di Siviano, una frazione del Comune di Monte Isola.
Nel 1696 Vincenzo Coronelli, geografo veneziano, ricorda l'isola come di proprietà degli eredi del Conte Alessandro Martinengo.
Lo scrittore Costanzo Ferrari, nel suo romanzo storico Tiburga Oldofredi pubblicato nel 1847, ambienta sull'isola alcune scene.
Lo storico Gabriele Rosa ricorda a fine Ottocento che vi erano tracce di ruderi di mura e di due torricelle quadrate, probabilmente resti di antiche fortificazioni, e le vestigia di cappelletta volta ad oriente, come si usava prima del 1500.
Nel XIX secolo era di proprietà della Duchessa Felicita Bevilacqua La Masa, e successivamente, con un atto del 9 ottobre 1900, fu venduta al comm. Vincenzo Richeri, capitano di vascello nella Regia Marina e marito della Signora Giannina Zirotti di Sale Marasino.
Nel 1910 il cav. Vincenzo Richieri costruì sull'isola un castello in stile neogotico attorno al quale creò un giardino ricco di conifere, un porticciolo e due torrette faro.
