4K Zürich City Moments SWITZERLAND チューリッヒ 苏黎世
The city of Zurich is by far the largest city in Switzerland.
The city is located in the eastern Swiss Mittelland, on the river Limmat at the outflow of Lake Zurich.
With its location on Lake Zurich, its well-preserved medieval old town and a diverse cultural offer and nightlife, it is also a center of tourism.
For years, Zurich has been listed as one of the cities with the highest quality of life worldwide.
Due to its central hill position and the trees, the „Lindenhof-Platz“ offers a magnificent view of the right bank of the Limmat, the university buildings and the old town.

Zurich City in Switzerland Travel Guide
Zurich City in Switzerland Travel Guide
Today I'm gonna take you to Zurich, which is the capital of the canton of Zurich in Switzerland but not of Switzerland itself, which has no capital city at all.
The city of Zurich has approximately 400,000 inhabitants, is the largest city in Switzerland and has a population density of approximately 4300 inhabitants per square kilometer. Zurich is the most important economic, scientific and social center of Switzerland. The city lies in the eastern Swiss Plateau, on the Lake Zurich. Its inhabitants are called Zürcher.
For years, Zurich is one of the cities with the highest quality of life and listed the highest cost of living simultaneously. Since 2012, Zurich is regarded as the most expensive city in the world, followed by Tokyo and Geneva.
With its main railway station, the largest station in Switzerland , and the airport, the city of Zurich is a continental transportation hub and thanks to the local big banks (including UBS and Credit Suisse ) and insurances (Zurich Insurance Group and Swiss Re) an international financial center and the largest financial center Switzerland, followed by Geneva and Lugano. Despite the relatively small population Zurich is therefore considered one of the world's cities. Above average number of media companies , including Swiss radio and television, have their headquarters here Thanks to its location on Lake Zurich and its well-preserved medieval center and a wide range of cultural attractions and nightlife, it is also a center of Swiss Tourism.

An unique and exceptional 360° panoramic view of Zürich from the bell tower of Grossmünsterkirche.
Zürich is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zürich. The city is Switzerland's main commercial and cultural centre and sometimes called the Cultural Capital of Switzerland, the political capital of Switzerland being Berne. Zürich can be counted as one of the world's pre-eminent global cities. According to several surveys from 2006 to 2008, Zürich was named the city with the best quality of life in the world as well as the wealthiest city in Europe.
The city is situated where the river Limmat issues from the north-western end of Lake Zürich (Zürichsee), about 30 km north of the Alps. Zürich is surrounded by wooded hills including (from the north) the Gubrist, the Hönggerberg, the Käferberg, the Zürichberg, the Adlisberg and the Oettlisberg on the eastern shore; and the Uetliberg (part of the Albis range) on the western shore.
There are officially 376,815 people living in Zürich (as of the 4th quarter of 2007), making it Switzerland's largest city. The population of the city proper including suburbs totals 1.08 million people. However, the entire metropolitan area (including the cities of Winterthur, Baden, Brugg, Schaffhausen, Frauenfeld, Uster/Wetzikon, Rapperswil-Jona and Zug) has a population of around 1.68 million people.
The geographic (and historic) center of the city is the Lindenhof, a small natural hill on the west bank of the Limmat, about 700 meters north of where the river issues from Lake Zürich.
Grossmünster (great minster) (near Lake Zürich, in the old city), where Zwingli was pastor; first built around 820; declared by Charlemagne imperial church
Fraumünster (our lady's minster) first church built before 874; the Romanesque choir dates from 1250-70; Marc Chagall stained glass choir windows; (on the opposite side of the Limmat).

Zurich: The Largest City In Switzerland.avi
Zurich: The Largest City in Switzerland. Warm-Hearted Swiss People always attract The Rest Of The World.
Zurich (German: Zürich, German pronunciation: [ˈtsyːrɪç]; Swiss German: Züri) is the largest city in Switzerland and the capital of the canton of Zurich. It is located in central Switzerland at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich. While the municipality itself has approximately 380,500 inhabitants, the Zurich metropolitan area is an urbanised area of international importance constituted by a population of nearly 2 million inhabitants. Zurich is a mixed hub for railways, roads, and air traffic. Both Zurich Airport and railway station are the largest and busiest in the country.
Permanently settled for around 7,000 years, the history of Zurich goes back to its founding by the Romans, who, in 15 BC, called it Turicum. During the Middle Ages Zurich gained the independent and privileged status of imperial immediacy and, in 1519, was the place of origin and centre of the Protestant Reformation in German-speaking Switzerland, led by Ulrich Zwingli.
Zurich is a leading global city and among the world's largest financial centres. The city is home to a large number of financial institutions and banking giants. Also, most of the research and development centres are concentrated in Zurich and the low rate of tax attracts overseas companies to set up their headquarters there. According to several surveys from 2006 to 2008, Zurich was named the city with the best quality of life in the world as well as the wealthiest city in Europe.
An impressive number of museums and art galleries can be found in the city, including the Swiss National Museum and the Kunsthaus. Zurich also hosts one of the most important theatres in the German-speaking world.

Park Hotel Vitznau Switzerland
Back in 1866, the Villa Von Pfyffer stood alone on 15 hectares of land at the foot of the Rigi, the queen of mountains, on the shores of Lake Lucerne. From 1901 till 1903 the Park Hotel Vitznau was designed, in the belle époque style, by the architect Karl Koller who, in 1912, also built the Suvretta House in St. Moritz. On April 22 in the year 1903 the Park Hotel Vitznau opened its doors for its first summer season. In summer 2009 the Park Hotel Vitznau was sold to Mr. Peter Pühringer's group of companies, the POK Pühringer AG, Switzerland. The Pühringer Group is carrying out extensive renovation and restoration work on the Park Hotel Vitznau to make it into the fairy-tale castle of the future. As soon as this restoration phase is completed, the Park Hotel Vitznau will be reopened and operating all year-round as a purely suite hotel in the luxury segment.

4K Lake Brienz Berner Oberland SWITZERLAND アルプス山脈
The homely village of Brienz is surrounded by a charming mountain landscape at the eastern end of the turquoise Lake Brienz. Known as a Schnitzerdorf, Brienz has a long tradition in woodworking and still has a wood sculpture school and a violin building school.
The municipality of Brienz is located on the shores of Lake Brienz and at the foot of the Brienzer Rothorn (2350 meters above sea level). It extends from the Brienzergrat in the north over the lowest point (lake level 564 m above sea level) to the highest elevation Schwarzhorn (2928 m above sea level) south of the lake and borders eight neighboring communities as well as the cantons of Lucerne and Obwalden.
The green-blue lake of Brienz, on whose south bank dark pine forests stand directly on the water, clearly bears the character of a mountain lake. The village has five alpine pastures.

SWISSVIEW, Rapperswil-Jona
M.) fliesst.
=============
Rapperswil-Jona (434 m above sea level), the second largest municipality in the canton of St. Gallen, lies on the eastern shore of Lake Zurich. The historic planting at the lake port gave it the name of «Rosenstadt» («City of Roses»). On a rock stretching far into Lake Zurich lies Rapperswil Castle in the heart of the historic city center, which, just like the lake promenade, invites people for a stroll.
From Jona, the river Jona flows into the Zürcher Oberland to Rüti (465 m above sea level). Natural recreational areas surround the town of Rüti, which is a stage in the Way of St. James.
