Hello everyone, we planed to go kayak fishing at elk lake today, but unfortunately, it was rainning all day long, so we went to lookout lake instead. Lookout lake have became our backup fishing location, because it's tiny and have a much more concentration of fish. This pond is highly pressured since it's located in a neighbourhood, we didn't want to keep too many fish, one or two is enough for both of us, but almost every fish swallowed the hook, we have no other choices but to bring them home. So I came up with this Catch N Cook idea on the way home. I'll be posting the catch N cook video sometime tommorow. So stay tuned and subscribe to the channel.

Langford Lake In Need Of New Aeration System, Or Fish May Be In Trouble
LANGFORD - As warm weather approaches, people in Langford are calling for a solution to an aeration pump in Langford lake that has been shut down for two years.
The 25 year old pump needs replacing at a cost of $220,000 and the City of Langford says it is willing to pay $120,000 of that. It has asked the Ministry of Forest Land and Natural Resources for the additional money, but so far no commitment has been made. The Ministry did submit funding requests to the Habitate Conservation Trust Fund, but has been denied twice.
Fishermen in the area say without the added oxygen, fish stocks in the lake could suffer, especially if algae blooms explode.
The pump would take a month to install, but without funding time is running out for the popular fishing hole.
