Disability Learning Center in Laos (LAUNCHING)
I was given a chance to be part of this special event for these special people.
To wear local lao sinh and help usher for this launching.
At first, there was no expectation just helping them. But later I realized how priviledge I am to see the deaf and blind given hope by our Creator.
Sopha the teacher shared to me that there were no programs by the government for the deaf not until this day.
These deaf has no way to learn sign language some of them were from provinces and no money to study. But not anymore through this program our Creator called some people to be used to bless them.
There's more story behind these pictures and videos that are better to share in private because of its confidemtiality. If you want to know more about it dont hesitate to comment to email me :)
This is really amazing story for me. An eye opener and life changing ????

Lao NEWS on LNTV: US Vice President's wife visits Laos.23/7/2015
VO US Vice President's wife visits Laos the purpose of expanding the US relationship with Laos.
INTRO: A representative from the White House has visited the country from July 21-22 with the purpose of expanding the US relationship with Laos.
STORY: The two-day visit by Dr Jill Biden, wife of Vice President of the United States Mr Joe Biden, also comes at an auspicious time as this year marks the 60th year of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
On Wednesday the 22nd of July, Dr Biden visited the Lao Disabled Women's Development Centre where she met with Director Chanhpheng Sivila. The Centre was the recipient of a US$230,000 grant from the United States to expand employment opportunities for disabled persons in Laos.
During the visit Dr Biden and her team discussed educational opportunities for girls and women and highlighted the growing partnership between the United States and Laos. A strong supporter of education and an educator herself, Dr Biden met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Sports, Dr Phankham Viphavanh to learn about the Lao education system. Dr Biden said that the United States will continue to support the Lao government with a grant of US$27 million to improve nutrition and education for Lao children through the Food for Education and Child Nutrition Programme of the World Food Programme as per the announcement made in November 2014. She said this programme has helped to dramatically increase school attendance rates in remote villages by providing children with a much-needed lunch or mid-morning snack.
According to Dr Jill Biden, the new donation represents a broader commitment and effort to ensure that 170,000 children from remote areas can access education and be assisted while at school. It's also an affirmation that the tools and support will be provided to run school meals programmes in the future
The distribution of nutritious food at school is an incentive for parents to send their children to school and for children to attend class. The food provided in school is usually enriched with vitamins and micro-nutrients, alleviating short-term hunger and improving children's concentration during lessons.
To further demonstrate her support for education, Dr Biden also visited the supported Library Boat programme in Luang Prabang Operated by the Luang Prabang Public Library and Cooperative Learning International, the programme supplies books to children in more than 75 remote villages.
On Tuesday she participated in a baci ceremony at the US Embassy in Vientiane. In Luang Prabang she visited Vat Xieng Thong, where she saw firsthand the important work of the Ambassador's Fund for Cultural Preservation, which funded the restoration of Vat Xieng Thong and preserved its intricate artwork.
