Ledreborg Palace / Castle and Park - Ledreborg Slot - Denmark
Ledreborg is a palatial mansion near Lejre, 12 km (7.5 mi) to the southwest of Roskilde on the Danish island of Zealand. Today's Baroque building was completed in 1746. Today Ledreborg Palace is one of Denmark’s finest examples of 18th century architecture and landscaping, its main building comprising of a unique collection of original furniture and paintings. The family resides on the ground floor of the palace, while the first floor, with its virtually unchanged 250-year-old original interior is open to the public during the summer months and for special occasions.
Every August since 1994, the Danish National Chamber Orchestra holds popular concerts of film music and musicals in Ledreborg Park which enjoys exceptionally good acoustics.

Ledreborg Herregaard
Herregården Ledreborg med sit store parkanlæg på cirka 80 hektar er et af Danmarks mest helstøbte kulturmiljøer. Selve slottet er en karakteristisk rokokobygning, som ligger højt i et landskab, der rummer mange spor efter fortidens storhed - dengang Lejre var centrum for magten i Danmark.
Realdania har finansieret renoveringen med 20 millioner kroner for at bidrage til at bevare og nytænke vores fælles kulturarv og bringe det historiske miljø ind i en nutidig sammenhæng, samtidig med at det kan give andre indblik i metoder til, hvordan man nænsomt restaurerer historiske kulturmiljøer.
