Tulamben is one of Bali’s most famous diving areas. Tulamben hosts a few dive sites such as the US Liberty Wreck, Coral Garden and the Drop Off. All sites can be reached with a short swim from the beach.. The Liberty was used during WW1 and again in WWII returned as a cargo-ship. The ship was torpedoed by the Japanese and made it to the shores of Tulamben, it now rests in 3-30m and measures 120 meters in length. Being close to the shore, it is perfect for both snorkelers and divers of all levels. The wreck is completely covered with a variety of corals and hundreds of species of fish inhabit it.

Headline news this time is about destination Tulamben. We know that Tulamben is a tourist destination that has worldwide many foreign tourist and a local who came to visit to tulamben. Like from, USA Eourope, Singapore, China, and other country.
Tulamben Village is one of the villages located in Kubu District, Karangasem Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. The name Tulamben itself comes from the word batulambih, which means many stones, referring to the eruption of Mount Agung which affected the rocks in this place from time to time. This name changed to Batulamben, and finally Tulamben.
This village is one of the famous diving recreation spots in Bali, especially around the location of the USAT Liberty wreck (a United States army transport ship which sank after being torpedoed from one of Japan's submarines in 1942).
This dive site is one of the easiest dive spots to enjoy the underwater scenery around the shipwreck. Divers of all skill levels can dive in this place. This location can be reached directly from the shoreline and is located about 25 meters from the coast, with a depth of between 5 meters to 30 meters below sea level. During the holiday season, more than 100 divers approach the wreck every day.

Berita utama kali ini adalah tentang destinasi Tulamben. Kita tahu bahwa Tulamben adalah tujuan wisata yang memiliki banyak turis asing di seluruh dunia dan lokal yang datang berkunjung ke Tulamben. Desa Tulamben adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem, Provinsi Bali, Indonesia. Nama Tulamben sendiri berasal dari kata batulambih, yang berarti banyak batu, mengacu pada letusan Gunung Agung yang mempengaruhi bebatuan di tempat ini dari waktu ke waktu. Nama ini berubah menjadi Batulamben, dan akhirnya Tulamben.
Desa ini adalah salah satu tempat rekreasi menyelam yang terkenal di Bali, terutama di sekitar lokasi kecelakaan USAT Liberty (sebuah kapal transportasi Angkatan Darat Amerika Serikat yang tenggelam setelah ditorpedo dari salah satu kapal selam Jepang pada tahun 1942).
Situs menyelam ini adalah salah satu tempat menyelam paling mudah untuk menikmati pemandangan bawah laut di sekitar kapal karam. Divers dari semua level skill bisa menyelam di tempat ini. Lokasi ini dapat dijangkau langsung dari garis pantai dan terletak sekitar 25 meter dari pantai, dengan kedalaman antara 5 meter hingga 30 meter di bawah permukaan laut. Selama musim liburan, lebih dari 100 penyelam mendekati reruntuhan kapal setiap hari.

Dive to USAT Liberty Shipwreck - Tulamben, Bali, Indonesia
USAT Liberty was a cargo ship used by the US Army until it was torpedoed by the Japanese in 1942. The ship remains can be visited by scuba divers to this day in Tulamben Bay in Bali, Indonesia. This dive took place on September 29, 2019.
This was one of the several dives during my time in Bali that went to the completion of my Advanced Open Water Diver certification, under the supervision of my PADI dive instructor, Mantra of Aqua Marine Diving - Bali.

10 Cool Underwater Creatures in Tulamben
My next and final dive destination in Bali was Tulamben. I lodged and dive with the team at the Bali Dive Resort and Spa. The Resort is about a 2 ½ hour drive from Seminyak.
The first dive we did was on the house reef. The house reef is filled Nudibranch’s Frogfish, Stingrays, Anomefish, etc. A great location for simple, long and exciting checkout dives. Each day I was assigned to a different dive guide. The dive groups were very mall. The largest group I was in had 3 divers plus the dive guide. There were a few days the guides took me out alone at no extra charge. This was fantastic for the aspiring underwater photographer and videographer.
All of the dive guides I was assigned were excellent. One of the guides suggested I wake up super earlier to find the Bumphead Parrotfish at the Liberty wreck. He suggested there would a high around of Bumphead Parrotfish and less diver's than latter in the morning/day. He was right! I took the video below between 4-6am. When we got to the dive site in the early morning, it was still pitch black and the area has low light pollution.
