Well, it is yet another busy weekend in the wonderful Gladstone region. Author and actress Judy Nunn has been in the district for the last couple of days. Today is the last day you ca catch her talking about and signing her latest book Spirit of the Ghann from 10am-11am at the Boyne Island Library.

Tonight there will be Old Time dancing at Benaraby Hall and a Cent Sale hosted by Friends of the RSPCA Gladstone

Another Free camp in the Portland area in Victoria is at Saw Pit picnic area in Narrawong State Forest, just 15 mins away.
This is an open campground with fire pits and toilets are available.
Lots of animals are known to visit as it is State Forest.
The campground is pet friendly.
It's a short 4km drive from the main road, the last km or so being easy dirt road.
I had coverage with both Telstra and Vodafone.
