A-Ma Temple of Matsu, the goddess of seafarers and fishermen, Macau (妈阁庙, Mā gé miào)
Approximately four hundred years ago the Portuguese landed on a sea promontory near a temple. They asked the local inhabitants the name of the land, but the locals misunderstood, thinking that the Portuguese were asking for the name of the temple. So they answered 'Ma Ge'. Later, the Portuguese translated the named into 'Macau' and used it to refer to the land. In actuality, this temple is one of the three famous Buddha halls in Macau- the A-Ma Temple.
The A-Ma Temple, located in the southeast of the Macau Peninsula, is the oldest temple here. It was constructed in the year of 1488 of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) to commemorate Mazu, the sacred sea goddess who blesses the fishermen. It is said that the goddess was called Lin Mo, and that she was born in Putian City, Fujian Province, and was more intelligent than other children her age. She could predict good or ill luck and after her death she often helped merchants and fishermen ward off calamities and turn danger into safety. Now there are a number of folktales about the great goddess narrated in the littoral lands.

Day 2-3 in Macau || Ruins of St. Paul's / Water Reservoir / Taipa's Famous Egg Tarts
Helloooo! (◕‿◕) Make sure to watch in 1080p!
This video starts off with a trip to a temple our family has been going for years in Macau. When my grandma did not have dementia, my mom would call her to pray at this temple whenever she was in trouble. We don't know what our temple/belief is called in English and we don't even full heartedly believe in it. But we do it because our family and ancestors have always done it.
Then we went to the Ruins of St.Paul's, which is a church that was destroyed in a fire, but the front stayed intact. They all believe it was the gods that held the facade up. This is probably the biggest attraction for tourists, but it was my first time visiting.
Lord Stow's Bakery's egg tarts are world famous and they are for a reason. They are soooo good and soooo fluffy when you eat them warm. We go visit the bakery in Taipa every time we go back.

HOW TO MAKE INCENSE STICK
by Marco Petruzzelli
tvreporter.it
Nepal, Kathmandu, how to make incense.
Incense (from Latin: incendere, to burn) is composed of aromatic biotic materials, which release fragrant smoke when burned. The term incense refers to the substance itself, rather than to the odor that it produces. It is used in religious ceremonies, ritual purification, aromatherapy, meditation, for creating a mood, and for masking bad odours. The use of incense may have originated in Ancient Egypt, where the gum resins and oleo gum resins of aromatic trees were imported from the Arabian and Somali coasts to be used in religious ceremonies.
Incense is composed of aromatic plant materials, often combined with essential oils. The forms taken by incense differ with the underlying culture, and have changed with advances in technology and increasing diversity in the reasons for burning it. Incense can generally be separated into two main types: indirect-burning and direct-burning. Indirect-burning incense (or non-combustible incense) is not capable of burning on its own, and requires a separate heat source. Direct-burning incense (or combustible incense) is lit directly by a flame and then fanned or blown out, leaving a glowing ember that smoulders and releases fragrance. Direct-burning incense comes in several forms, including incense sticks (or joss sticks), cones, and pyramids.

Mecca madina ka rahasya jo shivling ke saath juda hai , sach hai ya jhut video zarur dekhen .
Mecca houses Al-Haram Mosque, the largest mosque in the world. The mosque surrounds the Kaaba, which Muslims turn towards while offering daily prayer. This mosque is also commonly known as the Ḥaram or Grand Mosque.
As mentioned above, because of the Wahhabist hostility to reverence being paid to historic and religious buildings, Mecca has lost most of its heritage in recent years and few buildings from the last 1,500 years have survived Saudi rule.
Expansion of the city is ongoing and includes the construction of 601 m (1,972 ft) tall Abraj Al Bait Towers across the street from the Masjid al-Haram. The towers were the third tallest building in the world when completed in 2012. The construction of the towers involved the demolition of the Ajyad Fortress, which in turn sparked a dispute between Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
The Zamzam Well is home to a celebrated water spring. The Qishla of Mecca was an Ottoman castle facing the Grand Mosque and defending the city from attack. However, the Saudi government removed the structure to give space for hotels and business buildings near to the Grand Mosque. Hira is a cave near Mecca, on the mountain named Jabal an-Nūr (Arabic: Mountain of Light) in the region of Tihamah of present-day Saudi Arabia. It is notable for being the location where Muhammad received his first revelations from God through the angel Jibrail ,who known as Gabriel to Christians.
