Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center
The ranger was super nice and informative and gave us an overview of the map. It’s definitely worth a stop inside. There's a boardwalk along the canal where gaters are too.
Ochopee Post Office
Smallest Post Office in the United States
Stop, read the plaque, and maybe mail a postcard. It's cute, and one of those You were there places. There is really the smallest Post Office in USA, just 5 sq m, with a kind postman sitting inside, ready to stamp and to send your card from this very special, tiny and unique Post Office.
H.P. Williams Roadside Park
We stop by this park every year on our annual trip to the Everglades. The alligators never disappoint! It's right on the highway, easy to park. There are always nice birds and fish too. Definitely stop there!
Big Cypress Oasis Visitor Center
Great place to stop on the 41 ,stretch your legs and view the alligators .Small visitor centre with interesting postings of animals and birds sighted in the area .
Loop Road Scenic Drive
Loop Road is an absolute must for any photographer and film-maker. If you want to see some remarkably gorgeous spots, take the drive! Of the 24 miles, a good 12 to 15 of them are rather unremarkable and you just need to get through them. This is a wonderful drive if you want to see the Everglades up close and personal.
You will see alligators and birds in their natural habitat. We saw a big gator on the street :) So watch out.

Hiking Gator Hook Trail - Big Cypress - Loop Road
Just a few friends and I out slushing through the swamps of the Everglades. Pictures first then the video starts. This is the famous Gator Hook trail out on Loop Road in the Big Cypress preserve. We saw no gators! We saw some frogs and a couple baby rattlesnakes. That being said... I'm sure many gators laid eyes on us.

The Everglades Conservation and Sportsman Club
The club was formed in 1950 by eight men, interested in conserving the wildlife population in the Big Cypress and Everglades. At the time the State of Florida had only recently established the Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission.
The club is located at Monroe Station, 40 miles due west of Miami, immediately south of the western intersection of the Tamiami Trail and Loop Road (state road 94). The club property consists of 40 acres, the clubhouse and service buildings plus a camp ground. A paid custodian maintains the grounds at all times. There are only about 150 members, the club membership is kept small, because the club wants to insure that it is composed only of those people that have worked for the clubs objectives.
The most important thing about the Club membership is that virtually everyone truly loves the Everglades and the Big Cypress and is personally prepared to work hard to protect it. Members work closely with the Game Department officers in reporting game violations, assessing game populations and water levels. The club has supported projects to propagate game through releases into under-populated areas. It has dug water holes in dry weather and fed animals in wet and flooding weather. We have supported Youth Camps and both Boy Scout and Girl Scout clubs. A number of club members have assisted law enforcement, fire and emergency forces in performing rescue work when airplanes have crashed or have been forced to land in the deep swamp and to fight fires.
The club holds an annual “Wild Hog Barbecue”, its sole fund raiser to cover its expenses and conservation efforts.
We are a couple who lives in Miami and decided to start vlogging together. Join us on our adventures as we explore local events, entertainment, restaurants, bars, Groupon reviews, theme parks and occasionally, we cook too.

Highlands Hammock State Park
Highlands Hammock State Park, FL. Lots of beautiful hiking trails. Park needs work. Speed bumps on entry are very annoying. Site numbers on inside of site not visible from the road. Water spigot only 6 from the ground. Way too many children (but they were mainly well-behaved).

Tamiami Trail Scenic Drive: Everglades
Welcome to my YouTube Channel and I hope you enjoy my videos. One of my favorite relaxing moments is when I get to sit and watch other videos.
I really enjoy watching anything to do with beauty like hair, make-up and fashion. Many families share their everyday lives and moments that are special to them. This I find very interesting and if there is anything I can help anyone, I am here for you. Some gaming systems are also amusing to me.
My son and a few friends introduced me to YouTube and I thought to myself that this would be something that I would enjoy doing. I don't have a definite topic to my videos but I do love photography and I take videos and pictures of anything beautiful that I find in this wonderful world which we all share.
