Lost In Norway
Lost in Norway is a DMC (destination management company) and tour operator with headquarters in Bergen, Norway.
This video is one of our showreels where we present some of the adventure we can offer in Norway.
Like for example the Norwegian Fjords on the west-coast of Norway. If you are planning trips to Norway and want to experience the fjords, love diving, want to go hiking in the mountains or simply just enjoy the amazing views of the fjords of Norway, this video will give you great ideas for your trip.
You will see amazing northern lights or Aurora Borealis as the experts call it. In Tromso, the city by the Fjords of Northern Norway you can see how the Northern Light is dancing over the sky. Experience king crab fishing, snowmobile adventure on a frozen fjord in Kirkenes. Here you can actually stay in an ice hotel as you can see in the video. If you love dogs you will probably notice that you can get sledge tours with our Siberian Huskies. You can do this in Tromso, Kirkenes and even from Bergen city!
If you love whale watching, north of Norway during both summer and winter is a great choice! Did you know Bergen region is one of the few destinations in the world where you can do outdoor skiing during the summer and winter? ! The reason is the Fonna Glacier.
In Sognefjord the deepest fjord in the world, you will see the town of Høyanger (Hoyanger) where you can experience an amazing trolley tour to the top of the mountain. In Gulen you can dive in one of the best diving resorts in Europe – Gulen Dive Resort that offers amazing wreck diving. If you love self-drive packages or any form of road trips, you can get great inspiration in the video. Cover photo - (c) Bergen Reiselivslag
Norway Part II: Hiking Geiranger - Tafjord
The plan to make it to Tafjord was a little optimistic given the amount of weight we were carrying on our backs and our lack of hikinh knowledge... Needless to say we lost the trail, scaled a few cliffs and burned all our energy... Pride lost we had to turn back to Geiranger and instead of the all out adventure we had planned- we instead took a few routes that gave us scenic views we wouldn't believe unless we had seen it ourselves!
Geirangerfjord, Norway in HD
Geirangerfjord is widely considered to be Norway's most beautiful fjord. It is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The video shows boat trip on the fjord, views above the fjord from the Eagles Road (Ørnevegen), from the Flydalsjuvet gorge and from the Dalsniba viewpoint (1500 m above the fjord). Also couple of views from Trollstigen - stunning place on the scenic road Trollstigen - Geiranger.
Recorded July 2013 in HD with Panasonic TM900.

After traveling up the lengthy Geirangerfjord, it's time to check out the town and go on some waterfall hikes.
After arriving in Geiranger Norway, we travel through this quintessential town which has no shortage of mountains, waterfalls, sheep, goats, and amazing views.
With only 24 hours before we need to shove off again, we try and fit in as much as possible...but make the promise that we will definitely be back someday.
Much love from Norway!

Norge 2009 Geiranger Seven Sisters
The majestic Geiranger is one of the smallest fjords in Norway but definetly the best known . Even that he was a big tourist atraktion , you have to be at this place , it is amazing ! Best way to do is to go with the ferry from Geiranger to Hellesylt . It has been my 4th time i saw the fjord and it hasen`t lost the magic for me . There is only one place i love more in Norway , the Jossundsfjord , our home !

22/07/2010 -- Hellesylt to Geiranger
Hellesylt
Hellesylt is a small village in the municipality of Stranda, Norway. Its population in 2007 was about 600. Hellesylt lies at the head of the Sunnylvsfjord, which is a branch of the Storfjord (Great Fjord), and which the more famous Geirangerfjord in turn branches off nearby.
In the summertime, thousands of tourists travel through or stay at Hellesylt each day. Most of them take the ferry to Geiranger, which in high season runs every one and a half hour. The village is surrounded by mountains and valleys.
Geiranger
Geiranger is a small tourist town in the western part of Norway in the region called Sunnmøre in the municipality of Stranda. It lies at the head of the Geirangerfjord, which is a branch of the Storfjord. The nearest city is Ålesund. Geiranger is home to some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, and has been named the best travel destination in Scandinavia by Lonely Planet. Since 2005, the Geirangerfjord has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This third biggest cruise-ship port receives 140 - 180 ships during the four-month tourist season. Several hundred thousand people pass through every summer, and tourism is the main business for the 250 people who live there permanently. There are five hotels and over ten camping sites. The tourist season stretches from May to early September; in the off-season the pace and activity are reduced to that of a normal small Norwegian town.
Each year in June, the Geiranger - From Fjord to Summit event occurs. It comprises a half marathon run and a bicycle race, both starting from the sea level at the fjord and ending at the 1,497 m (4,843 ft) summit of Mount Dalsnibba. As there is still a lot of snow left in the mountains at that time of year, the race could also be called From Summer to Winter.
