REMOVING LOVE LOCKS FROM BRIDGES & STATUES (Honest Guide)
A bridge in Paris collapsed under the weight of love locks. We don't want anything like that to happen in our city so we decided that we will clean our bridge (the Charles bridge) from the mess tourists made here. Please don't take it the wrong way - we want you to come to Prague and to have a nice time here. But please don't destroy our heritage sites by putting up some stupid locks. Come to our city but treat it with respect. Leave Prague in a better state than you found it, not the other way around. Or else - there will be no Prague for you to discover...

Electroshock - CAll me maybe (Charles Bridge, Prague, on Charles Bridge. Prague)
On 8th September I have visited Wonderful city, the capital of Czech Republic - Prague. On the one of the famous Bridge of Lovers - Charles Bridge, I discovered this AMazing Band! Don't know the name of band but they Rock!
PS. I find the name of this band - Electroshock :)
Prague, day 1 - Charles Bridge, Historical Centre and the Lock Bridge
On the long (and very cold) weekend holiday we had in May, we went to visit Prague. The rain was so heavy we found ourselves obligated to hide in the souvenirs shops almost every 30 minutes. The rain is also the one responsible for the drops on my camera, sorry about that! :)
On the first day we had to see Charles Bridge, we managed to get lost a few times on the narrow streets of the old Prague and after checking in at the hotel, we insisted on seeing the city at night.
Next week you will see why going out that night wasn't such a good idea and why we had to make our trip short.

Charles Bridge 1:10
Charles Bridge was built way back in 1357 and connects the Old Town to Lesser Town. This bridge is also known as being one of the most beautiful bridges in all of Europe and is definitely worth seeing!
Church of our Lady before Tyn 1:42
You can’t miss this Gothic church as it is the most dominant feature of the Old Town in Prague and has been the main church of the city since the 14th century.
St Vitus Cathedral 2:12
The St Vitus Cathedral took over 600 years to build and is one of the most richly established cathedrals in central Europe. It is pivotal to the religious and cultural life of the Czech Republic.
Dancing House 2:42
The Dancing House is one of the most unique buildings you will ever see. Inspired by two people dancing, more specifically Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, this building has become a landmark for the city of Prague.
Prague Astronomical Clock 3:11
The Prague Astronomical Clock is a medieval clock that was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still operating to this day.
The Powder Tower 3:36
The Powder Tower is a Gothic tower in the city and is one of the original city gates that separates the Old Town from the New Town.
Lennon Wall 4:14
The Lennon Wall that was once a normal wall but since the 1980s, it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti, pieces of lyrics from Beatles' songs, and other designs relating to local and global causes.

Part of the parapet of the world famous Pont Des Arts bridge in Paris has collapsed under the weight of the growing number of locks that had been attached. Couples write their initials on the so-called 'lovelocks', and attach them to the bridge as a sign of their love.

5 Best Rooftop Bars in Prague
We spent 5 months loving, living and DINING in Prague, Czech Republic. Check out some of our favorites rooftop restaurants and bars we found!
1. DANCING HOUSE
Address: Jiráskovo nám. 1981/6, 120 00 Nové Město, Czechia
The entrance onto the rooftop patio is 100 korunas or you can buy a drink and the entrance to the outdoor patio is FREE. I recommend going here for the sunset with a great view of the Vlatva River and the Prague Castle. Very relaxed vibe with people coming after work for a drink or just to hangout during the day.
2. T-ANKER
Address: OD Kotva, nám. Republiky 656/8, 110 00 Staré Město, Czechia
It is a little difficult to find but it is on the 5th floor of the mall. It is a very family friendly environment, especially when it gets warm there is also a playset for your little ones, complete with a slide!
3. UPRINCE HOTEL
Address: Staroměstské nám. 460/29, 110 00 Staré Město, Czechia
One of our PERSONAL favorites! It has great food, great drinks and great views. It is on the top floor of the UPrince Hotel right in Old Town Square. One of the only places in Prague where we could find a Moscow mule. Also recommend their hanging meat skewer and their sangria!
4. VILLA RICHTER at St Wenceslas Vineyard
Address: Staré zámecké schody 6, 118 00 Praha 1, Czechia
Located near the Prague Castle area, this recently restored vineyard has panoramic views of the city, plenty of seating within its two restaurants. It makes for a great stop after touring the Prague Castle or visiting Petrin Tower. It is also known as the oldest vineyard in Bohemia
5. KAMPA PARK
Address: Na Kampě 8b, 118 00 Malá Strana, Czechia
Although it is not on a rooftop, it has great views of the Vltava River and the Charles Bridge with an international menu and a large list of wines. The avocado shrimp salad was absolutely TO DIE FOR. Although this spot is perfect for summer weather, Kampa Park also has plenty of space inside and a winter garden complete with a heated conservatory that overlooks the river.
