2012 Truffle Festival - Limestones Farm hunt

Mark and Jodie Umback at Bredbo bought Limestones Farm with some established trees, they've re-planted some and are starting to get a small quantity of good truffle. They held one hunt this year and this video records the event. There were good small truffles found, but the tasting afterwards at the Bredbo Gourmet Food Store was a big one. Truffled eggs in a rolled omelette, soup with truffled cream and shaved truffle and truffled bread. Finished up with Canberra's Frugi truffle icecream much to the kids delight. This high country landscape is one of my favourite places.
