Bredbo is a village on the Monaro plains of New South Wales, Australia. The village is on the Monaro Highway 34 kilometres north of Cooma. The village is in the Snowy Monaro Regional Council and had a population of 352 at the 2016 census.

Mogo Zoo is a small privately owned zoo in Mogo, on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia. It is a member of ARAZPA and has had success in breeding programs for endangered species, including the snow leopard, cotton-top tamarin, Black-and-white ruffed lemur, red panda, and Sumatran tiger. It is one of only two zoos in Australia that exhibits white lions . Unlike most small Australian zoos, Mogo Zoo focuses on exotic species. It is owned by Sally Padey. Primate expert Louise Grossfeldt is Manager Life Sciences. Mogo Zoo exhibits include a small reptile house, a large African savanna, and a series of islands for primate species. Perisher is the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. Located in the Australian Snowy Mountains, the resort is an amalgamation of four villages and their associated ski fields, covering approximately 12 square kilometres , with the base elevation at 1,720 metres AHD, and the summit elevation of 2,054 metres at the top of Mount Perisher. 4.4 square kilometres of this area is covered by 240 snow guns, which are used to artificially supplement the natural snowfall. Perisher was acquired by Vail Resorts, United States on March 30, 2015 for a sum of approximately AU$177 million. The resort is accessible by road and by the Skitube, Australia's only underground rack railway.
