The Harden-Murrumburrah Express or The Harden Murrumburrah Express is an Australian weekly paper in New South Wales. The Express started in 1947 and continues to present . The State Library NSW holds microform of the newspaper beginning in 1947. ' Express serves the regional towns of Harden, Berremangra, Binalong, Cunningar, Galong, Jugiong, Murrumburrah, Wallendbeen and Wombat.

1. Temora Aviation Museum Temora
The Temora Aviation Museum is an Australian aviation museum located in Temora, New South Wales. The Museum was established in late 1999, based on the collection of warbird aircraft owned by David Lowy. Lowy remains the President and Founder of the Museum, which is overseen by a four-member Governing Committee. The Museum is home to many historic ex-military aircraft that range from the World War II era to the Vietnam War era and holds Aircraft Showcase to display some of its operating aircraft. The Museum often hosts visits from historical aircraft and Royal Australian Air Force combat aircraft such as the F/A-18 Hornet.

2. Cowra Japanese Garden Cowra
The Cowra breakout occurred on 5 August 1944, when at least 1,104 Japanese prisoners of war attempted to escape from a prisoner of war camp near Cowra, in New South Wales, Australia. It was the largest prison escape of World War II, as well as one of the bloodiest. During the escape and ensuing manhunt, four Australian soldiers and 231 Japanese soldiers were killed. The remaining escapees were captured and imprisoned.

Opened in 1965, the complex was used for tracking the Apollo Lunar Module. It is part of the Deep Space Network of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory , managed in Australia by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation .

A Decade in Steam - A Tribute to Steam Locomotive 3642

With 3642 having recently retired from Main Line Operations in NSW, I thought I would put together a video project to pay tribute to this magnificent Locomotive, that has been in action with the NSW Rail Museum (NSWRTM Formerly) for the last 10 years, from 2008 to 2018.

3642 officially returned to operation with the NSWRTM on 1st March 2008, and on 1st July 2018, the locomotive had it's last main line tour before retirement. Since returning to steam, 3642 has probably been the main workhorse of the NSW Steam Fleet. It has hauled tours all across the Sydney and NSW Network, and taken part in major events such as the Festival of Steam, Hunter Valley Steamfest, and the Great Train Weekend. It has been able to travel to a number of regional places around NSW, such as the Hunter Valley, Riverina, North West, Central West, and others.

This Video Special features Information and History on the Locomotive, during it's working career, and during it's preserved career with the NSW Rail Museum. We also see some footage highlights of 3642 in action, that we've been able to capture over the years. The footage ranges from May 2012, to July 2018.

Well done to the NSW Rail Museum on doing a fantastic job, in running 3642 around Sydney and NSW for the last 10 years, and we wish all the best in it's retirement, and pending upcoming overhaul.
