10 Things NOT to Do in Ibiza
Get more Tips here! destinationtips.com
Let’s be honest, most tourists come to Ibiza for its epic party vibe. Although there is plenty to see and do there, there are also a few no-nos to bare in mind. Here are a few things NOT to do in Ibiza.
1. Don’t Buy Tickets at the Door
That’s a rookie mistake. Not only will buying tickets at the door cost you more, but you’ll probably have to stand in line for at least an hour or more (and sometimes you just don’t make it past that velvet rope).
2. Don’t Show Up to the Clubs Before Midnight
Most nightclubs start opening around 10:00 pm, but things don’t really kick into gear until the stroke of midnight (and, frankly, that’s usually when the coolest clubs open).
3. Don’t Forget Your Hand Fan
Having an old-school hand fan to cool you down on the packed dance floor is an essential tip. You can’t count on the air conditioning or sea breezes to keep you comfortable in that mosh pit of sweaty gyrating bodies.
4. Don’t Leave Your Photo ID in the Hotel
You’ll need to show ID at the door to every bar, club and party on the island, so make sure you have some identification with your picture on you.
5. Don’t Sneak Drinks into the Clubs
Just don’t. Commercial venues don’t take kindly to booze smuggling, and it’s not worth it if you get caught. They’ll throw you out and probably ban you from the premises. If you’re really on a tight budget, see tip #10.
6. Don’t Try to Walk Home from Amnesia or Privilege
Playa d’en Bossa is technically in walking distance from Ibiza town (about 40 minutes), However, that stretch has been nicknamed “the road of death” as many stumbling partiers have taken their last steps that way.
7. Don’t Drink the Tap Water
It is safe, but it’s really not very palatable. People complain about high salt and calcium levels, and it also has a high chlorine content and taste.
8. Don’t Avoid Local Transport
The local transportation system is cheap and efficient, and can take you just about anywhere you’d want to go. The Ibiza Bus costs only about €2 and can get you from one side of the island to another.
9. Don’t Sleep on the Beach
For starters, it’s illegal and the police do patrol the coastline for this, so don’t bother trying to camp out on the beach for the night. However, if you plan to party all night and catch a nap on the beach during the day, that’s another thing.
10. Don’t Forget to Pre-Drink
Bolster yourself with a few pre-cocktails so you don’t need to imbibe so much at the expensive clubs. Keep an eye out for the promotional reps out there hustling 2 for 1 drink specials, free shots and the like, too.
Best Beaches in Sydney, Australia
Sydney Australia is famous for its beautiful beaches, so I decided to go find the best beaches that this city has to offer...
Here is my list of the Best Beaches in Sydney Australia:
BRONTE BEACH
My list begins on the southside of Sydney’s incredible coastal walk with a family-friendly place called Bronte Beach. Natural and man-made pools protect you from the dangerous rip known as the Bronte Express.
COOGEE BEACH
Over Dolphin’s Point, There’s Coogee Beach, which is much larger than Bronte and also safer for swimming.
Both Bronte and Coogee are located in really cool neighborhoods with some great places to eat and drink down by the water.
CLOVELLY BEACH
In between Coogee and Bronte is the concrete and rocky waterfront of Clovelly Beach - its the perfect place to go if you don’t want any sand in your bikini.
GORDONS BAY
Across Bundock Park is Gordons Bay, which doesn’t have the best beach, but the water is calm and clear so its a really nice spot for snorkeling.
PARSLEY BAY
I absolutely love the smaller bay beaches towards the top end of the Peninsula, and my personal favorite of all these is a cool little hidden gem called Parsley Bay. It is tucked away within a quiet neighborhood and the shark nets make me feel better about swimming.
KUTTIE BEACH
Kuttie is another small, quiet spot within a residential area.
WATSONS BAY
When you're at Watson's Bay, stop by Doyle's for lunch on the water. A completely different vibe here than over between Bondi and Bronte Beach.
MILK BEACH
For amazing views of Sydney Harbor, follow the path to the small and quiet Milk Beach.
TAMARAMA BEACH
Back over on the beautiful coastline, the quiet and secluded Tamarama Beach is great place to get away from the crowds of neighboring Coogee and Bondi.
Its usually occupied by a laid-back, local crowd with a heavy focus on the top-notch surf break.
BONDI BEACH
Just around the rocky cliffs, you’ll find one of the most well known beaches in the world… From the iconic Icebergs pool which overlooks the beach, to the abundance of beautiful sunbathers, Bondi is famous for a reason.
Popular with international backpackers and tourists, its a place to see and be seen. Especially considering its bikini top optional.
Don’t get too distracted though, because There’s tons of beach activities going on, and the waves are a bit more manageable than at other beaches, so its a good place to take your first surf lesson or just go for a swim.
If you’re in town for awhile, stay at the Hotel Ravesis right at the beach and check out some of the chill bars and delicious restaurants around the neighborhood.
MANLY BEACH
If you take the ferry north from Sydney Harbor, you’ll come to Manly Beach - the gateway to the most beautiful stretch of sand in Sydney.
Manly itself is the most lively of all the northern beaches, with surf competitions and weekend events, its a very popular place in the summertime.
But If you’re looking to break away from the crowds, keep heading north and you’ll find a lot more space in the sand at places like Collaroy beach, Avalon beach, and way up at the top, is Palm Beach.
PALM BEACH
Palm Beach is Sydney's most northerly stretch of sand, and It sits on a peninsula at the end of Barrenjoey Road, between Pittwater and Broken Bay. Palm Beach is sometimes referred to as 'Palmy' and its a great spot for surfing and sunbathing. Make sure you walk up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse for an amazing view!
And If you’ve made it this far, you’ve officially explored some of the best beaches in Sydney!

10 Weird Activities You Can Experience in Japan
Get more Tips here!
We all know that when we travel to a different country things can be a bit... surprising. And if you're headed to Japan you'll no doubt run into some of these weird activities!
1) Renting Paparazzi
Have you always wanted to be a star but you never quite took off? Do you envy the attention attracted by famous celebrities? Don't worry!!! Now, you can feel just like them, when you hire some paparazzi that will follow you wherever you ask them to, and won't stop taking pictures for your special album.
2) Renting a Family
Do you feel lonely at home? Are you an only child and have always dreamed of having a brother or a sister to talk to? Everything is possible in Japan!!! With just one call, you can have a fake family to do whatever you fancy! You can even order a fake wife. Although there are many restrictions, of course...
3) Renting Friends
You'll be able to spend hours talking and laughing with your new friend. You can also go out partying if your real ones are too lazy to go with you. And the best thing is that they will always agree with you about anything!
4) Renting Pets
If you're an animal lover but you don't have the time or space to keep them, or you partner is allergic, you can rent someone else's! Yes, that's right, you can pay to walk the dog, or to have them lay around your home keeping you company. Then send them right back to their real home. Preferably before they poop.
5) Silicone Babies
Oooh, you've had a baby, he's so beautiful... You'd love to remember him like that till the end of time... Sure you could always take a photo. But this company, goes one step further. They'll make an exact silicone replica of your baby so you he'll remain that way forever.
6) Coffee Enemas
If you're wanting to cleanse your body of toxins, there's nothing better than this coffee enema. Gwyneth Paltrow is trying to let the world know about it too. The liquid travels through the smooth muscle of the small intestine, and into the liver and helps you make a healthy recovery. So, how about a coffee? Up your b*tt?
7) Foreskin Facial Cream
If you're obsessed with your own face and want it to be as smooth as a baby's bottom, this is your cream. It's made from foreskin fibroblasts that are used to grow and cultivate new cells, banishing fine lines, smoothing out wrinkles, and even toning the skin. It's also used to help treat burn victims, help cover diabetic ulcers and Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett also recommend it so...
8) MariCar
If you're a fan of Japan, you're probably a fan of Nintendo too. So you just have to try MariCar! Here, you can race in a super-charged Mario Kart dressed as your favorite character. It's like a dream come true, right? Mario Kart in REAL LIFE!
9) Ear-Cleaning
Some people go to a spa to relax, others go to the beach. And then we have the weird ones who go to places like Yamamoto Mimikaki in Akihabara to get their ears cleaned. Well, if you're one of these people, you've come to the right place!
10) Vending Machines
We're used to vending machines selling snacks and soft drinks, however Japan has taken them to another level. You can find anything imaginable in there. From Umbrellas, hamburgers, surgical masks and as you may have heard before... Used Ladies' Underpants. So, close your eyes, insert your coin and be prepared for a surprise.
Which weird activity would you like to try?
