Worst Places for Americans to Visit Around The World
Get more Tips here!
Whether they pose a threat to travelers’ safety, or may cause detrimental harm to one’s physical health, here is our list of the 10 worst places for Americans to visit around the world.
1. Saudi Arabia
The U.S. Department of State advises Americans to exercise extreme caution when visiting Saudi Arabia, due to, in part, the increased amount of armed conflict. One place in particular, Edge of the World in Riyadh, was once an insanely popular tourist destination. But, maybe, it's better to stay away.
2. El Salvador
Amazing views, delicious cuisine and impressive ruins will have to wait due to the increase in violence. One day, Americans may finally get the green light to make the trek to El Salvador again.
3. Somalia
The U.S. Department of State even suggests those who ignore their warning to draft their last will and testament before heading out to this East African country. The country’s prime minister has dreams of a brighter future, and our fingers are crossed, too, cause it's an amazing place.
4. Honduras
Americans might want to think twice about traveling to Honduras, especially since the lack of police and increased incidents of crime. Hopefully it will change soon, cause there's so much to see about Maya history.
5. Democratic Republic of the Congo
It's not a good place because of the problems with the Ebola and armed conflict. But it's a very different place full of beautiful mountains, volcanoes and the Lake Kivu.
6. Bangkok, Thailand
This county is quite the opposite, it's not a good place because of us, the tourists. It's so crowded that we're starting to affect negatively the country. So, maybe, it's better it give it a time.
7. Afghanistan
Recent wars, Communist coups, and attacks make it a really bad place to visit. Hopefully, one day we'll be able to see the stunning Hindu Kush mountains and breathtaking lakes.
8. North Korea
It isn’t entirely impossible to visit North Korea, and the U.S. Department of State advises its citizens that traveling to the East Asian country could result in arrest and long-term detention by the hands of North Korea’s government officials.
9. Mount Everest
Mountain trekkers have to come up with the estimated $40,000 to be guided up the mountain by a local Nepali operator, and there are physical dangers for climbing to the peak, as well, including frostbite and hypothermia from the freezing temperatures. So... a bit risky.
10. Beijing, China
This is the worst place to visit because of the serious air pollution. They have made smog a huge problem in the city, resulting in the government to implement emergency measures to help alleviate the problem. You should wait until they fix it.
Which one do you think is the worst place to visit?

Australia: Travels in Tasmania
Informative and entertaining travel documentary about Australia's island state of Tasmania that covers many of the outstanding scenic, wildlife and cultural aspects of this special place. Your guide, Robert Stephens, takes you to Battery Point, Rektango, Salamanca Market and MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) in Hobart. He then heads to Bruny Island to go on Bruny Island Cruise, then to the 500 acre Inala Conservation Property of Dr, Tonia Cochran. She shows the rescued wildlife in her care that includes an Albino Bennetts Wallaby, a red neck Bennetts Wallaby and a Rufous Bellied Pademelon. Dr. Cochran also talks about her work with one of Australia's rarest birds, the forty spotted Pardolote. The tour finishes on Bruny with a visit to see a wild Echidna at South Bruny Island National Park and Lighthouse, and a dusk vigil to see the the Little or Fairy Penguins at the Bruny Island Isthmus Rookery. The tour heads north to the Midlands towns of Ross and Oatlands, and then on Launceston and Tasmania Zoo to see Tasmanian Devils up close. As the video closes, Robert heads to the Freycinet Peninsula to see Wineglass Bay. Lower Cascades, Waterfall swimming, Litchfield National Park Northern Territory Australia, Tourist.
To be able to swim in the waterhole and out under the waterfall was just great, and to have the place all to ourselves made the walk in even more worthwhile, lovely clear water, it just does not get much better than this.
We are swimming at the Lower Cascades, Litchfield National Park, Northern Territory, Australia, but the area seems to just be called the Cascade Falls, by the people we talked to, it is a popular tourist destination.
