Glenworth Valley is in the Central Coast region to the north of the Hawkesbury River itself 50 km to the north of the city of Sydney, Australia. Popran Creek flows through the valley which includes parts of the suburbs of Glenworth Valley and Mount White. Popran National Park was created in 1994 and is for the most part made up of sandstone cliffs and gullies. The creation of the park is indicative of the value the area has because of its unique fauna, flora and geology. The Australian Reptile Park is located at Somersby on the Central Coast, New South Wales in Australia. It is about 50 kilometres North of Sydney, and is just off the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. The park is home to a variety of reptiles, including snakes, lizards and crocodiles, as well as other Australian animals, such as koalas, kangaroos, cassowaries and Tasmanian devils. The park is heavily involved in snake and spider venom collection for use in the production of Antivenom and is credited for saving the lives of thousands. It is an institutional member of the Zoo and Aquarium Association .

A short trip from Newcastle to Sydney, stopped over in the Central Coast for a quick fly at Lake Macquarie, Snapper Point & Brooklyn. This was the day after Melbourne Victory became the Champion of Australia - thanks to VAR for not working and allowing an offside goal to stand:)

Scenic drive from West Gosford to Empire Bay

West Gosford is approximately 73 km (1hr 10min by car) from inner west Sydney, Strathfield suburb. Central Coast Hwy, Manns Rd and Brisbane Water Dr make the big West Gosford intersection.
Driving down along the winding road through Kariong and turning left into Manns Rd at the West Gosfrod intersection leads to the further north of Central Coast Narara; driving through straight the intersection (from West to East) will lead to Gosford CBD and East Gosford; turning right into Brisbane Water Dr will lead to Point Clare, Tascott, Koolewong, Woy Woy, Ettalong Beach and Empire Bay.
