Situated between the towns of Mudgee, Lue and Rylstone NSW, Old Bara Camp is a picturesque 1100 acre cattle property offering campers a slice of paradise. The spacious paddocks, undulating terrain and a creek that runs through majority of the property, will keep the kids entertained for hours exploring, yabbying, swimming, bike riding or simply flying their kites, while you sit back and enjoy that true Aussie break. Old Bara is pet friendly and suitable for everything from tents through to motorhomes with a wide range of camp sites for you to choose from whether you’re looking for some quality time alone, with your partner, your family or a group of friends.
This is the perfect place to experience the peace and serenity of real bush camping surrounded by beautiful countryside. There are no showers on site but creek water is on tap at the loos which have been voted by campers as the best loos in Australia. Rainwater is available for purchase so bring a container and campfires are permitted (out of fire season) bring your own firewood or gather loose wood from around the property. A maximum stay of 7 days applies and bookings are essential due to the frequent return of previous campers. Once booked, the site is yours with no unexpected neighbours arriving during the night, providing you with not only privacy, but peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Old Bara also has a guesthouse that sleeps up to 10 people for those who like the finer things in life or simply wish to catch up with family and friends who don't like camping.

Bremer Bay Beaches Resort and Caravan Park - Top Tourist Parks - Discover Downunder
TV presenter Tim Smith from Discover Downunder is checking out The Bremer Bay Beaches Resort and Caravan Park which is located on Point Henry Peninsula at Bremer Bay in the heart of the Great Southern Region of Western Australia on the Fitzgerald Coast. The park is surrounded by seven beaches and has large sites which can cater for 5th wheelers. Tim talks to managers Bill and Sue Crouch about the resort and the many feats with in the park. There are a range of cabins and 89 powered sites including many unpowered sites. Tim also talks to a family on holiday at the park enjoying their stay. The park is also pet friendly and has some great fishing spots around the area.

Gumma Reserve Campground - Gumma (Macksville), NSW
The Gumma Reserve Campground sits on the banks of Warrell Creek and is a gorgeous little spot. You can fish and kayak on the water and Macksville is just 5 mins from the campground. The Star Hotel is a great old pub for a beer! There are flushing toilets, picnic tables and water available. Wood fired BBQ's and firepits. There is also a boat ramp and rubbish bins. Dogs are permitted here as long as they are kept on a leash.

Junee Rhythm n Rail Festival - 10th Anniversary , 9th to 11th March 2018
Friday 9th March to Sunday 11th March 2018 saw Junee once again host their Rhythm n Rail Festival, and this year, it was the 10th Anniversary of the event. There were various activities throughout the weekend, which included:
-LVR Diesel Locomotive 4716 - Shuttles to Wagga Wagga and Cootamundra
-Junee Roundhouse Museum
-Pete's Hobby Railway
-Model/Miniature Railways in Railway Square
-Markets around Junee Town Centre
& Much More!
We visited the event on Saturday 10th and 11th March 2018. On Saturday, we were able to see 4716 hauling Shuttles, have a look at the Model and Miniature Railways, and make a visit to the Junee Roundhouse Museum. We got the chance to travel behind 4716 on a Twighlight Trip to Cootamundra, along the Bethungra Spiral.
On Sunday, we continued to see 4716 hauling Shuttle Trips, and we were able to make a quick visit to Pete's Hobby Railway.
