Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand
This video is about our time spent in the hill tribes of northern Thailand, mainly in the village of Borseelium. We went on this trip in December 2013 with some of the ministers from Somprasong 4 Church of Christ and a couple of the staff from Suan Dusit University (the school we volunteer to teach English at) to make plans for a service learning trip that we'll be a part of this summer. The university's nursing department will offer an opportunity this summer for some of their students, and students from ASEAN (South East Asia) countries and a group from Abilene Christian to gain hands on experience in their field. We and several from our church will be a part of leading the trip and translating since everything will need to be communicated in English. We're looking forward to returning to Borseelium this summer!

WALKING STREET CHIANG MAI THAILAND | TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE WITH HAPPY ENDING
The Sunday Weekend Walking Street Chiang Mai Market is easily the most popular shopping experience in Chiang Mai. A fun and vibrant spectrum of art, crafts, music and delicious food. The Sunday night market Chiang Mai starts at Tha Pae Gate and runs all along Ratchadamnoen Rd, for around one kilometre. As the name suggests it takes place every Sunday from 4pm until around midnight, and it does get very busy. We got a Thai Massage hoping the crowds would die down during that time but it didn't. A really fun night and you must do this when travelling to Chiang Mai.

A tourist boat on the Mae Ping river in Chiang Mai, Thailand
This is a cruise boat for hire in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Not a bad way to spend an hour or so cruising up and down the river. See a local travel/tour operator to make your booking. It's an inexpensive activity.
Chiang Mai Hot Springs
Can't remember this hot springs name, but it was a stopping hub for tourist who goes from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. Nothing special here but at least can have a quick meal & toilet. Hope you enjoy.

Northern Thailand

First time in Chiang Mai, Thailand | Aspire 180
You could never know where life as an entrepreneur takes you. In this particular moment of my life I found myself in the beautiful Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I always tried to balance personal life with working on my business, and now that I'm traveling at the same time, you could say that it's harder than ever.
Still, I couldn't be more grateful that my job allows me to enjoy life so much and travel to new places. I'm not saying it's easy to travel and work at the same time, but I get so my joy doing it.
I'm sure more challenges will come in the near future and I'm glad that I can share my story and my experiences with you here.

Bamboo Bridge, Mae Hong Son
Sutong Pae loosely translated from Thai Yai Burma lineage people language means “successful prayer”, so I’ve been told. It stretches for 500 meters across rice fields and the Mae Sa Nga River to link the temple at one end with the village of Kung Mai Saak at the other. Purposely built to allow monks to cross rice field.
