MARADO JEJU ISLAND
Marado adalah bagian dari pulau, kabupaten administrasi Jeju island Seogwipo daejeongeup gapari di ujung selatan Republik Korea. Pulau ini terletak 11 km dari utara ke selatan dari bagian moseulpo. memiliki penduduk 139 orang pada akhir September 2104 dan untuk tahun 2017 sedikit berkurang menjadi sekitar 100 orang penduduknya. Di marado ini walaupun pulau kecil tapi setiap harinya banyak sekali pengunjung yg datang untuk menikmati pemandangan yang ada. Dipulau ini sangat terkenal dengan makanan seafood mie hitamnya(해물짜장면).
Berjalan mengelilingi sambil menikmati pemanadangan alam memakan waktu sejam.
Untuk pemberangkatan menggunakan kapal verry ada dua dermaga yaitu dari dermaga moseulpo dan dermaga songaksan. Untuk biaya tiket perorg 17rb won pp. Untuk jarak yg ditempu dr dermaga ke marado memakan waktu sekitar 35 menit.
Ps. Kalau datang berkunjung dipulau ini kudu bawa topi biar ngk kena panas wajah cantiknya.

JEJU ISLAND, SOUTH KOREA: SEONGSAN ILCHULBONG PEAK
Eric and I vacationed on Jeju Island, South Korea for 3 days. Our mission was to explore as many UNESCO World Heritage sites and waterfalls as possible. In this video, our first stop was visiting Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the day we went it was cloudy, but the views on Jeju Island, South Korea were still breathtaking especially with the drone footage I got with my new dji mavic pro.
We both discovered our passion for travel, beginning with our destination wedding in Jamaica. This year we made a goal of traveling to 30 countries before the end of 2018. We made the decision while living in Korea this past year when we decided to create a YouTube channel and vlog our experience not only as expats, but from the perspective of Amanda reuniting with her biological family as a Korean adoptee.

We were so excited to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival weekend on Jeju Island, South Korea! It was the first visit to Jeju for us both. We were there 6-8 September, 2014.
The island is large and can take up to an hour to get from Jeju City in the north, where the airport is located, to Seogwipo in the south, where many of the most popular tourist sites can be found. We decided to rent a car from a Korean company called AJ Rental. We drove the cutest mint green Kia Ray, which came equipped with a GPS that provided directions in English. If you don't speak Korean, you can still use the GPS, which provides directions based on your destination's telephone number.
After lunch in Jeju City, we drove southwest and spent the afternoon exploring Marado, the O'Sulloc Green Tea Museum, and Jungmun. Marado is a small harbor and home to a passenger ferry boat terminal.
Our next stop was the O'Sulloc Green Tea Museum. O'Sulloc has a couple cafes in Seoul, and we love their green tea flavored desserts and beverages. In addition to a large cafe, the museum also has a shop filled with all sorts of tea. Outside the museum are the actual green tea fields. The grounds are beautiful and provide a beautiful place for an afternoon walk.
Jungmun is part of the Jungmun Tourist Complex where you can go for a swim or even a surf at Saekdal Beach. Sadly, we weren't prepared for a swim. But we took our time taking in the cliff and ocean view.
We had to rush to our hotel in Seongsan in western Jeju because Glo started to feel really ill. Skipping breakfast and not drinking enough water is never a good idea on a busy travel day! We stayed at the Jeju Lux Hotel near Ilchulbong, a.k.a. Sunrise Peak. We highly recommend it! It's clean, modern, and very affordable.
