How to have a Driver's License - Toyota Camatte in Tokyo Japan
Toyota Mega Web Ride Studio (Koto-ku, Tokyo) – Kids` Indoor and Outdoor Driving Track
Toyota Mega Web Ride Studio is located in the Toyota Mega Web Theme Park, in Koto-ku near Odaiba. Toyota Mega Web is split into 3 sections; The History Garage; Toyota City Showcase and the Ride Studio. All are located walking distance to Venus Fort, Palette Plaza and the Epson teamLab Borderless digital exhibition, and all are free to enter. You can check out all Toyosu and Odaiba fun here.
The History Garage holds more than a dozen classic cars manufactured between 1950’s and 1970’s, they have a 30m long corridor with books and car toys, rally and model cars are on display and a restoration garage. The Toyota City Showcase has about 60 Toyota models on display. Test drive a few cars and see some of the newest models on display. Reservation required.
INSTRUCTIONS
When you walk into the Ride Studio make a reservation at the front desk on your right. If you prefer to use the outdoor track, tell the front track and they will walk you to the back of the studio and down the stairs. They have a translator on hand so request if you have difficulty. Fill in a form with your child`s name, child`s age, parent`s name, phone number and signature.
Indoor Track:
Pay 300 yen at the machine for driver training. The instructor will take you to the far end of the studio where you will practice accelerating, braking and turning. Once you`ve passed the test you will receive a card for your license.
Walk to the center track. Pay 200 yen at the central machine to drive. You`re allowed 2 loops around the track with working traffic signals. There is a camera in the car and a tv on the wall to see your child`s expressions when driving. If you want to drive again pay 200 yen at the machine.
Outdoor Track (e-kart):
Make 2 reservations, one for the drivers test and the other to ride the track (300 yen per ride). Kids will watch a short instructional video (basically drive in sneakers not sandals/crocs, green = accelerate, and red = brake), and wear a cotton head protector and helmet. *Must wear sneakers. If your child is wearing sandals/crocs they have some sneakers they can provide. They may not have all sizes. *Children must understand Japanese to ride. Adult carts are available on weekdays.
Once you pass the test (2 loops around the practice track) you can reserve again to ride the 200m track. Note track will close if raining.
Venus Fort and Palette Town are a short walk from the Ride Studio. Great spots to grab a bite to eat. Have fun!

The last World Tour event of the 2019 Series takes the action to the 46th Tokyo Motor Show held at Future Expo Mega Web, starting 24 October.
The event will be held over 2 days from Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 October. 48 competitors will gather to compete at Future Expo Mega Web in Odaiba. Which driver will manage to grab the final golden ticket to November’s World Final in Monaco? Get ready for some fierce battle on the track as the season draws to a close.

The best possible thing you can do is join the Tokyo Pub Crawl on Friday in Roppongi and explore the nightlife of Shibuya on Saturday, those are the best days for an epic weekend in Tokyo.
If you make new friends in Tokyo, you will eventually be asked to be added to LINE. LINE is 'the' chat app in Japan, so if you do not have DATA on your phone during your stay, make sure to rent a dirt cheap pocket Wifi station at the airport. You can take these pocket Wifi stations all over the country and allow you to connect many of your devices. It even fits in your back pocket. Nightlife in Japan is beyond incredible! The most popular nightclubs in Tokyo include Club Camelot in Shibuya, ELE Tokyo in Roppongi and Ageha Nightclub in Koto City. Ageha is the best nightclub in Japan, it will be an all night event since it is quite far from downtown but on a big event night you will be amazed by the gorgeous girls, cool dudes and a fantastic sound system. This mega club stays open until 5am and should be high on your Tokyo party bucket list.
Tokyo has the best quality of food in the world, that's why you have to visit at least one of its many izakaya's to try a bunch of authentic Japanese dishes, like Eihire (grilled stingray), Sakura (raw horse meat) and Yakitori (skewered chicken meat). Visit izakaya's Umiya or Sumire in Shibuya to enjoy these dishes.
After dinner join the Tokyo Pub Crawl on Friday @ 8pm which lasts until 12am (4 hours) during which you will visit 3 bars and 1 epic nightclub. Tokyo Pub Crawl is a great event to meet travelers, locals, expats and fully hosted in English. What many travelers do not realize is that English isn't commonly spoken at bars and nightclubs, thus the pub crawl is a great first start. The Tokyo Pub Crawl is ONLY $20 USD for 4 hours of fun, you truly cannot go wrong.
Studying a bit of Japanese and learning common phrases prior to your arrival will definitely make your nightlife experience in Japan 10x times better. I've made many incredible friends during my 6 visits to Japan and these have been some of my most treasured memories by being able to speak a bit of Japanese.
I truly have seen it all in Tokyo since my first Tokyo Nightlife experience back in 2007 - I've seen many bars and clubs come and go, that's why I decided to compile the best possible list for an epic party weekend in the capital of Japan.

Odaiba foi um dos lugares mais legais e divertidos que conhecemos em Tokyo durante a nossa viagem de 30 dias pelo Japão.
Localizada na baia de Tokyo, a ilha artificial de Odaiba oferece inúmeras atrações como shopping centers, museus e parque de diversões.
Visitamos alguns desses lugares e foi incrível, ficamos com vontade de voltar. Os destaques ficam para o Gundam, um robô gigante, que faz a gente pensar que está dentro de um filme, o Megaweb, com suas exposições de carros e o TeamLab que nem dá para descrever de tão impressionante que é. Só assistindo ao vídeo para entender!
