MAMUTIK ISLAND, is a small island with white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The picnic tables are free to use on a first come-first serve basis. Public facilities such as showers and toilet are also available for free. There are also private function hall and diving school in this island. I've been to a lot of boat rides, but this one is the fastest. Our boat is leaping when strong waves crashes through the boat.

Malaysian Shipwreck Search Area Expanded
Malaysia has expanded the search area for the six people that remain missing after their boat sank off Sabah state on North Borneo, with neighboring Brunei also joining the search effort, authorities said Monday.
The rescue center has created a map that shows a defined 2,100 square nautical miles divided into seven areas that will be searched.
The Malaysian government has deployed its Navy, coastguard, police and air force to join the search and rescue operation.
5:30 this morning, our aircraft take off and conducted the patrol in the area and today we are expecting at least another three aircraft. One belong to the coastguard, Malaysia. Two will be the air force, Malaysia and one aircraft also from Brunei. So we are going to comb the area together with our surface asset. So at the moment we have seven surface asset to comb those waters. This combination of aircraft and surface ships and vessel, we hope we can find some result, said Director General Dato Sri, of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
So far 20 Chinese tourists and 2 crew members have been rescued, three dead and six people remain missing. The surviving Chinese tourists were sent back to hospitals in Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah, for treatment early Monday.
Their boat went missing on Saturday when traveling from Kota Kinabalu to Pulau Mengalum, a popular tourist island, 60 kilometers west of Kota Kinabalu. A total of 31 people were on board, including 28 tourists from China and three crew members.
The police are currently investigating the cause of the accident. More on:
