Hiking 120 Miles Alone on the Tour Du Mont Blanc Loop
Map and Guide -
The Tour du Mont Blanc is a 120 mile loop that circles the Mont Blanc Mastiff and passes through Swiss, French and Italian Alps. Each country’s section has its own personality. The trail is well-maintained and dotted with colorful “TMB” markers. You’ll find plenty of other people on this trail, all hiking for different reasons. It’s usually impossible to tell how long someone has been hiking because the trail is a loop with technically no starting or ending point. You’ll find thru-hikers with large packs doing the entire loop, day hikers, gondola tourists, trail runners, mountain bikers, families with dogs and locals taking their morning stroll. You pass tiny villages hidden in the mountains and large bustling cities filled with tourists. The trail is dotted with Refugios and campsites where you can eat, drink and sleep.

Bonjour from Switzerland! ????????
A few weeks ago i went to Geneva, Switzerland and Mer de Glace at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc! It is preferred to visit Chamonix on winter (early Dec - March i think) because there aren't many activities and sports to be joined during Autumn.
Thank you so much for watching, i hope you like the video ♡

Alpine Rescue - Episode 1 - Angels of Mont Blanc
A hair-raising 6 part adventure series set in the alpine resort of Chamonix, located at the heart of the French Alps. Following the Mountain Rescue Team (PGHM) as they rescue climbers and skiers from the Mount Blanc Region above the town.
The area is the climbing mecca of the world and its rescue team the busiest and the most respected. The terrain is extreme and virtually every rescue involves helicopter winching, often from sheer cliffs and ice faces.
Filmed during the peak climbing season in summer, the team risk their lives to save others in this beautiful but dangerous environment. A must watch for anyone interested in the tallest mountains in Europe or understanding the work performed by the world's premier mountain rescue service.
This 2001 documentary was produced by Pioneer Productions for Channel 5.
Pioneer Productions has strong links with the rescue team and is experienced at filming under extreme conditions. The specialist trauma unit at the Chamonix hospital, which is constantly under threat of closure, deals with anything from broken necks and backs to hypothermia and frostbite.
The Road to Mont-Blanc - 1000km & 21 Mountains Non-Stop
A 1000km non-stop journey across the Dolomites, Eastern Alps and Swiss Alps.
Exploration is as much about overcoming the unknown challenges of the road ahead as it is about learning of one's own physical and mental capabilities. On August 4th 2014 Mike Cotty faced the longest and hardest ride of his life, a personal challenge to see if it's possible to cycle over 1,000km and 21 mountains non-stop across the Dolomites, Eastern Alps and Swiss Alps from Conegliano, Italy, to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France. Thunderstorms during the darkest depths of the night, a bitter cold dawn on the Passo dello Stelvio, punishing headwinds and the will to overcome adversity and sleep deprivation from over 50 hours on the bike and 21,250 metres of elevation make this journey an inspiring test of human reserve.
21 Mountains:
Passo San Boldo
Forcella Franche
Passo Duran
Forcella Staulanza
Passo di Falzarego
Passo di Giau
Passo di Pordoi
Passo di Costalunga
Passo dello Stelvio
Passo di Gavia
Passo dell'Aprica
Bernina Pass
Maloja Pass
Splügen Pass
San Bernardino Pass
Lukmanier Pass
