Yangshuo Guangxi China Moon Hill 月亮山, an amazing rock formation in Southern Guangxi China. Aerial shots were filmed with my Parrot Bebop 2 drone. This was a short day trip to explore this famous rock formation landmark near Yangshuo. We were met with another cloudy day but that didn't stop us from making the most of it with an awesome bike ride to Moon Hill. Later we saw a small ray of sunshine from our hotel room so we got ready as fast as we could to try to catch the sunset. See how that turned out!

October 2010. After an extremely tough climb up countless stone steps, I saw the most beautiful panorama that I had (and have) ever seen.

Moon Hill Of Yangshuo | China（阳朔 - 月亮山）
To the south of the Big Banyan Tree in Gaotian Town, about five miles (8km) away from Yangshuo County of Guilin, there is a natural masterpiece called the Moon Hill. On the hilltop is a round hole penetrating the hill from north to south, which resembles a bright moon, therefore, the hill is named Moon Hill. It is the last stop when you travelling along the picturesque 'Ten-Mile Gallery', the superb tourism section in Yangshuo County. In 1972, the former U.S. president Richard Nixon and his wife climbed the hill. Now, Moon Hill also serves as a popular place for rock climbing.

YANGSHUO MOON HILL LADY - TRIP TO CHINA VLOG #8
In today’s video you’ll be seeing our last day in Yangshuo before we leave the next morning to the city Guilin. We hopped on our electric scooters trying to find the Lotus Peak Mountain that we eventually never found so we went to climb the Moon Hill for the day. After the Moon Hill on our way back, our electric scooter ran out of battery so we had to walk for a bit. It was quite an adventure that day.
