Mountain View Campground - Fall Colors of the Blue Ridge Mountains
Available to watch in 4K
Yoly and I head up to Hiawassee, Georgia to spend a night nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We stay at one of the best Passport America parks we've ever run across. Full hook-ups, cable TV and the fastest internet (by far) than we've ever seen in traveling 48 states. The owners Mike & Damien were super cool and Damien brought out his Yuneec Typhoon H to fly alongside my Phantom 3 Advanced. I got some awesome shots of the foliage from ground level and from the sky. Ended up being the longest video I've ever produced for YouTube but when the footage is that good you have to use it all :-) Mountain View Campground is about 4 or 5 miles east of the town of Hiawassee and Lake Chatuge. It is close to all kinds of natural wonders .... waterfalls, hiking trails, scenic lookouts, zipline and kayaking adventures as well as close proximity to good restaurants. We can't wait to go back -)

Moonshine Creek Campground, NC from Fain H.
Waterrock Knob Trail
-----------------------------------------
Fain H.'s Review on The Dyrt:
▶︎ Surrounded by greatness
Plenty to do in this area, camping, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, rafting or kayaking and its not far from skiing in the winter. The site we camped at (2) was right on the creek but to be a tent site we felt a little close to our neighbors, luckily the were super cool. Here's a break down of our itinerary -Hiked to the top of Waterrock Knob, about 15 min drive from camp. -visited one of our favorite breweries in Sylva (Innovation) 10 min from camp. -visited a number of overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway witch is only about 5 min from camp. With so much to do in the area this may become one of the Henderson Herds frequent spots.

North Carolina man says he saw Sasquatch - Says Big Foot had beautiful hair and 12 fingers
CLEVELAND COUNTY, North Carolina - Deputies in rural North Carolina filed a suspicious person report after a self-proclaimed mountain man says he saw Sasquatch.
Tim Peeler was calling coyotes, but he got something quite different.
Instead of them, there was him, he bellowed. The thing was 10 feet tall with beautiful hair, yellowish hair and a yellow beard, Peeler said. He looked like he had six fingers on each hand.
He says the beast was approaching his dogs and got wrapped around their chains.
I rough-talked him and said, 'You get away from here,' he said.
Peeler says the beast eventually left, but then came back again.
And I said, 'get, get,' and he went back down the path again.
Peeler said he called deputies and then filed a suspicious person report.
Reports of a Sasquatch aren't new to Cleveland County.
They date back to the 1970s, although deputies say they haven't heard the stories in years.
Sgt. Mark Self of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office remembers the sightings of a Bigfoot Beast when he was a child.
Self said people believed they saw a Sasquatch in the same parts of Cleveland County.
The reports were frightening to the then 10-year-old boy.
It was killing animals and breaking into barns and killing chickens, he said of the reported stories.
As for the latest report of Big Foot?
This is totally blowing my mind, But it doesn't bother me. Self said. We're working up here so if we see something we'll try to capture it and take it into custody, he laughed.
