Mahabaleshwar Day 3 | Zunka Bhakri | Babachi Wadi | Morarji Castle
Day 3 of 4: Two Roving Hearts took some much needed time off and set out on an exciting roadtrip to Mahabaleshwar. This is Day 3 of our journey (if you haven't seen the Day 1 or Day 2 videos yet, find the links below and don't miss out on those). During this travel vlog, you'll find us enjoying a scrumptious and very aunthentic Maharashtrian meal / brunch at Babachi Wadi Village Dhaba restaurant just off Main Street, Mahabaleshwar Market. Here we had awesome Zunka Bhakra, Chicken Bhakri and some spicy chilly chutney. Later, we sampled the region's speciality ice-cream at Strawberry Den, trying the Gulkhand and Mulberry flavours … yummy!!! An adventurous drive to find Morarji Castle, brought some excitement to our day, and some spookiness too. It was Jasmin's birthday that day, so we celebrated with some French champagne and closed the evening with insightful conversation with local street food vendor (corn / butta) Mevalal Chaurasiya. Club Mahindra outdid themselves once again, giving Jasmin a perfect ending to her perfect birthday. She ate her cake, and had it too.

Journey to Mahabaleshwar via NH4 | Travel Vlog | Dhom Dam, Elephant Head Point, Sunset Point
At 1,372 meters above sea level, around Lake Venna, is the highest hill station in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. Mahabaleshwar is one of the most spectacular and the largest of Maharashtra hill-stations. Mahabaleshwar in Sanskrit means God of Great Power. It was summer capital of Governor of the old Bombay Presidency The Britishers built various mansions, cottages and bungalows around the town, lending it a charming, sophistication. There are 30 valley viewpoints with panoramic vistas scattered around the hill station and their access roads make for shady, pleasant walks and treks.
Mahabaleshwar along with Panchgani makes the most popular hill resorts in the Maharashtra state of India. Far way from the madding crowds the hill resort makes an excellent holiday destination. The natural beauty of Mahabaleshwar attracts nature lovers, film directors, holidaymakers, peace seekers and adventurers alike. The heat and the dust of the plains give way to the cool breezes and the gorgeous greens of Mahabaleshwar. The hill resort of Mahabaleshwar derives its name from the God Mahabali. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Mahabali namely the old Mahabaleshwar Temple.

Mahabaleshwar Day 2 | Parsi Food at Dina Hotel, Shopping, Chicken Maggi
Day 2 of 4: Two Roving Hearts took some much needed time off and set out on an exciting roadtrip to Mahabaleshwar. This is Day 2 of our journey (if you haven't seen the Day 1 video yet, find the link below and don't miss out on that). During this travel vlog, you'll find us waking up to a breathtaking view of the forest canopy from our balcony, followed up by piping-hot breakfast burgers, fries and chicken Maggi at Country Corner located on Main Street in the Mahabaleshwar market area. We also went gift shopping, picking up some chikki, chocolate, strawberry crush and umbrellas. The weather has been treating us beautifully, surrounding us with chilly monsoon breeze and fog. After walking around and building up an appetite, we headed over for a lunch feast to Dina Hotel located on Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani Road. Here we devoured an absolutely scrumptious and authentic Parni meal or Parsi Bonu. We highly, highly recommend this place to all non-vegetarians. Stick with us, there's more excitement to come on day three … video coming soon.
