Mount Gambier is full of Surprises - sink holes, blue lakes & Ewens Ponds - E18
This week after setting up camp and getting stuck into a bit of work, we wake the next morning with a super flat battery. Push starting doesn’t work, jump starting doesn’t work so Matt gets a lift into Mount Gambia to buy a new battery
After a quick change over we are back on the road and our first stop is the blue lake. From here we check out the various sink holes around the city before heading to little blue lake for an arvo dip
The next morning after we fix the resistor and buy some more food we head to ewens ponds to check them out. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but we still put on our wet suits and jump in. Next thing we know we are so surprised with what we see

Adelaide Weekend Getaway
Flew from Sydney to Adelaide in march with my boyfriend James to see his dad, this is what we got up to!
Our trip started off with a drink & dinner at a rooftop bar, the next day we walked through the Botanical gardens & then shopped in Rundle Mall. Lunch was out at Tenafeate Creek Winery where we had some very yummy wine & pizza. our next stops were at Kies winery & Yalandra Winery. That night we had tickets to see Wil Anderson at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, which was awesome!! Sunday we only had the morning to see some sights before our flight just after lunchtime, so we headed down to the water for breakfast at Grange.
Highly recommend going to Adelaide, cant wait to go back & spend some more time there!

Episode 9 - Limestone Coast SA (15/1/19 - 18/1/19)
...
Follow us through the Limestone Coast of South Australia. In this episode we drive out of Adelaide over the hills and across the Murray River down towards the coast and the southern region of SA.
First stop was Cape Jaffa for a nights camp on the extremely soft sand. We then headed slightly further east to Robe but not before an early wine tasting on route! Robe is a small tourist town that offers great surf, snorkelling some shopping and wine tasting on the high street. Sadly I did not capture the waves that we surf for nearly two hours on Long Beach but they were easily the best we have ever surfed.
After another camp on the beach and a stroll down the Main Street in the morning for some breakfast we moved onto another surf spot in the smaller quieter town of Beachport. Surf was good but the water full of seaweed, made it very hard going.
After Beachport we drove to Mount Gambier and the Jens Hotel. Mount Gambier surprised us both with its size, the second largest city in SA after Adelaide and with the about of things to see and do. We easier filled up the next couple of days walking around volcanos and swimming in sinkholes!
Next episode takes us into Victoria and onto Dunkeld and the Great Ocean Road (E10).
