The Mountaineer Mantrip - Opening of the Neal brown era - WVU football - Mylan Puskar Stadium
A cool tradition that was started by former WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen. This was the mantrip on August 31, 2019, the first game coached by Neal Brown. Starting Quarterback Austin Kendall mentioned it was an important part of the day to him in an interview after the game. God's speed to you coach - as you lead our beloved Mountaineers to new heights! And the same to each member of the coaching staff, their families, and of course, the players.

Alex Ross kickoff return Oklahoma Sooners vs West Virginia Mountaineers
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Oklahoma players and coaches have raved about Alex Ross’ speed since he arrived on campus more than two years ago.
“That boy can fly,” then-OU junior running back Brennan Clay said in August 2012, after only spending a couple months around Ross. “I’m excited to see what he can do on the field, getting some open field.”

Ross redshirted that year, and played sparingly last season.
Through four games in 2014, though, the public has finally gotten to see what all the fuss was about. Ross sped past the Mountaineer kickoff coverage team just before halftime on his way to a 100-yard touchdown in Saturday’s 45-33 win at West Virginia.
