Hiking Mt. Kinka in Gifu City
Mt. Kinka is a popular tourist attraction in Gifu City, and home to Gifu Castle. Although I live quite near, I hadn't hiked up it before. Since it's only a little mountain, I hiked up it twice while rambling about snakes and tourists.

We went to the Gifu castle in Gifu, Japan. The castle is on top of Mt. Kinka (aka Kinkazan). It is about 50 mins to get to the top by walking. You can also take a cable car to the top. This is pretty close to the Gifu Station. If you have a chance to come to Gifu, I highly recommend this place to visit.
