Mulegé Beach House, Mexico 2017
Truly the trip of a lifetime. It was one of my favorite vacations my family and I have ever been on. We stayed in a mansion of a beach house cornered in Bahía Concepción in Mulegé, BCS, Mexico with spectacular views. We spent the week interacting with the abundance of sea life from manta rays to whale sharks. I hope to head back to the same spot one day in the future.

Day 4 Road Trip to Baja California (Mulege)
Baja Motorcycle Trip 2019 - Episode 3: Bahia Los Angeles to Mulege
Bahia Los Angeles was a beautiful location, so Paul and Lauren decided to stick around the general area for a few days. For their second night, they headed south on their KLRs to Las Animas (a small secluded bay with an abandoned fish camp). It was a bit sandy getting there, but well worth the trip. After Las Animas, they returned to Bahia LA where they relaxed, went paddle boarding, dug clams, and camped for two more nights.
The motorcycle adventure had to continue, so they headed southwest up and over the mountains, with a brief stop at La Mision San Borja, before booking it for the Pacific Coast. They camped below a lighthouse and hiked to see some sea lions the next day. After some fish tacos along the highway, they headed back to the coast for a sandy track between Bahia Ascuncion and Punta Abreojos. The scenery was beautiful, although the towns were a little run down and trashy.
From Punta Abreojos, they rode pavement out and around Laguna San Ignacio so that they could continue down the coast. With a few options on routes to take, they opted for the mountainous road toward San Juanico. It ended up being an excellent choice.
After enjoying the sunshine in Scorpion Bay and a nice camp in a small wind protected canyon, they took off on an eighty mile dirt track towards Mulege. The terrain was varied and challenging in places with water crossings, sand, and loose rocky areas, but the scenery made it worth the hard work. Upon arriving in Mulege, they found a bite to eat and a place to camp right on the water.

Another beautiful place and a quiet mind : Mulege B.C.S Mexico
I have been in an observer role. I'm just taking it all in and settling into this life and I am so moved by the beauty of Baja!
I am feeling so much gratitude for being able to have this experience and see all these things and from my custom built little home.
I am letting the lack of consistent cell service give me the excuse of not making daily videos. Oh well...I'm doing what feels good:)

Driving the streets of Mulege part 1
We arrived today, 04/13/18 (Friday the 13th) with our Lance trailer in tow. Quite the experience towing a full sized trailer on old world Mexican streets. We survived unscathed but there were some moments that might have put a wet spot on the seat of many a driver towing a trailer in such narrow confines. Enjoy... part 2 follows.
