Flow With Nature - Murwillumbah High School
One Vision Productions is proud to announce our second release in 2018, “Flow With Nature” from the super talented students of Murwillumbah High School, Northern New South Wales.
The mob from Murwillumbah are inviting all people, all generations, no matter creed or color, to connect to the land, to country, with the hope that we can better connect to ourselves and to those around us.
We’ve lost our deep connection to the land, to the trees, waters and earth, and as a result have lost the connect with ourselves. We climb over each other to make it to the top instead of joining with our neighbors and supporting each other to create a positive community for all.
Massive props to all those involved, may you shine with unlimited potential!

Lyrics
Intro:
Jingywalla welcome to our land this is Bundjalung jugun (country)
We have welcomed you to our country now we want to connect you to it as our ancestors were.
Verse 1:
Don’t understand our culture? Are you afraid to ask?
Let us help you connect like our ancestors past
Nature should be nurtured like a baby in our arms
Mother earth should be cared for and left unharmed
Water is here to cleanse the soul
Bloodstreams run deep yeah it always flows
Like the river it knows the path to go
Reflection of a heart complete as a whole
Our connection is deep, Can’t you see..
Everything needs freedom from reality
Branching out our knowledge like a family tree
If you’re digging for the future better plant the seed
Feeling misunderstood like a snake in the sun
But together we can grow like a lotus from the mud
Bugulwan (wish someone well), this is our native tongue
Welcome back to our land this is Bundjalung
Chorus:
So
know your neighbor & flow with nature and x 3
It’s time to grow, it’s time to show that we can try and make amends
Bugulma – to heal
Bugulwan – wish someone well
Verse 2:
Take what you need, don’t fill up on greed
There’s enough to go around, for all to feed
Together we stood as a community
To lock the gate said NO TO CSG
When the rivers rose high, You were by my side
So why did it change when the waters subside?
Can’t you trust me? I got nothing to hide
It’s like we climb over each other to reach the sky
So what you reaching for? And what’s your teaching source?
So what you preaching for the evil source of needing more?
So now we even scores, we sick of being pawns
We weren’t born in this form to confirm to ya laws
So of course we will walk underneath the bright skies
With wide eyes, Searching for things we can’t find
Cause they paved over that with some dark tarmac
These days our hunting grounds can’t be tracked
Chorus:
So
Know your neighbour & flow with nature and x 3
It’s time to grow it’s time to show that we can try and make amends

Lyrics:
If we were all together you could come and follow me,
Our brightest future, is something we’ll be soon to see,
From you to me, we all need equality,
I’m not the enemy, don’t treat me like minority,
No discrimination, within this nation,
We can end this with better Education,
We can learn more about our culture,
Yeah you heard us, we want a better future,
Don’t speak to me if you’re dissin’ my history,
Purity in unity, we’re all in one family tree.
Lets unravel the mystery,
So we can create history,
Form of originality,
We are one nation so come jam with me,
Together,
Together,
Together in equality in quality.
We already told ya, stand up and be a soldier,
We are the rock, yeah the biggest boulder,
We’re all brought together by family and friends,
And stay together because our culture never ends,
Uniting as one, in a community,
To care for each other with more humility,
We’re all the people, why can’t we be equal,
We’re not evil but on the mic we’re lethal,
We don’t want no misery now listen to me,
Let me tell you we will make history.
Lets unravel the mystery,
So we can create history,
Form of originality,
We are one nation so come jam with me,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Together in equality in quality.
This unity as one as a nation we stand,
We all come together take pride in our land,
We’re not playing games this unity we seek,
Need it in our lives, yeah we’re going deep,
Peace and equality joy and the rest,
Ya know life’s a test but we all try our best,
Ying and Yang, we come together as one,
It’s Murwillumbah high standing under the sun.
Lets unravel the mystery,
So we can create history,
Form of originality,
We are one nation so come jam with me,
Together,
Together,
Together,
Together in equality in quality.
