Ancient jadeware exhibited at Shenyang Palace Museum
Shenyang Palace Museum in northeastern China's Liaoning Province has staged an exhibition showcasing more than 100 pieces of jadeware from a museum in the central city of Wuhan.
Most of the exhibits date back at least hundreds of years ago, with some dating back to the Neolithic Age.
Shenyang Palace Museum was the imperial palace of three Qing emperors. Some 200,000 imperial items and books were transferred here from Beijing during the Qing Dynasty.

Last week, I went to Chengde Mountain Resort, one of the largest and best-preserved imperial palaces outside Beijing.
It used to be a summer resort for emperors and an important place for diplomacy in Qing Dynasty.
The Mountain Resort can be divided into four parts, the Palace area (the Museum), the Mountain Area, the Lake Area and the Plain Area.
In this video, I will show you the Palace Area.
There is the bedroom where 2 of the Qing Emperors died, and the living hall for Empress Dowager Cixi.
The Qing Emperors used to receive the elites from Ethnic Minority Groups around at the palace here.
There are lots of clocks, porcelains, hanging screen and other artworks.

In this video, I am going to show you the lake area of the Mountain Resort.
The landscape at the Lake Area is the best of the Resort.
We had a boat trip and it felt like floating in a virtual world, a gorgeous painting by nature.
Lots of scenic spots by the lake were built after the landscape of Jiangnan.
There is Yanyulou, where the popular Qing Dynasty TV series Huanzhugege was shot.
There is the Lion Grove Garden built after the one in Suzhou.
There is the fabulous lake scenery in sunshine, under dark clouds and gorgeous sunset.
Let's enjoy them together.

Puning Temple, Chengde
Built in 1755 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong, the Puning Temple is located near the Chengde Mountain Resort. The temple was modeled after the Samye Monastery in Tibet. Thus, it embodies both Chinese and Tibetan architectural styles.
The Puning Temple has the world's tallest wooden sculpture of the Goddess of Mercy. The sculpture is 22.28 meters (about 73 feet) high and weighs 110 tons (242,508 pounds). Hence, the temple is nicknamed the Big Buddha Temple.
