I had the great pleasure and joy spending a day in College Station, Texas at the 'Living History Weekend' put on by the 'Museum of the American G.I.' This is their 19th year putting on this event. It is a great experience and chance to learn. I encourage everyone to attend, if able, next year.

Museum of the American GI Living History Weekend Complete Event Tour
This is a complete tour of all the attractions at the Living History Weekend Event at the Museum of the American GI on February 2nd 2016. This showcases nearly everything other than what i have on my previous videos of the event. Its kinda raw but will give you an idea of what they have to offer and what its like being there. There is a ton of really cool weapons, field equipment, tanks, jeeps and vendors to see here. I really loved the event and plan to attend regularly from here on out! And remember this was for fun i didnt spend alot of time on the editing.

M4A3 Sherman Restoration (Suspension Unit Breakdown).
This Restoration of an M4A3 Sherman is being done by the Museum of the American G.I. located in College Station, Texas.
This video shows how we break down the suspension units for cleaning, sandblasting, priming, and painting. Another video (to be uploaded soon) will show how to put the units back together, for installation on the tank hull.

M4A3 Sherman Restoration (Removing, fixing/restoring, and installing rear idlers).
This Restoration of an M4A3 Sherman is being done by the Museum of the American G.I. located in College Station, Texas.
This video shows how we remove the rear idlers and eccentrics, clean and restore them, and replace them back on the tank, good as new.

A private funeral service will be held at St. Martin's Episcopal Church on Thursday morning. The funeral is by invitation only. A Union Pacific train will then transport President Bush to his final resting place in College Station.
Road closures will go into effect in the area beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday and reopen at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday.
