Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all around Thailand, and heaps around Phuket. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for 3 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at a Thai market is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your Phuket holiday, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and it’s known for its beaches, incredible views and it’s nightlife. Today I am going to be showing you Phuket’s top attractions.
There are over 25 Buddhist temples on the island and Wat Chalong is the most famous. It’s a three story temple and it’s well known because it houses a bone relic of the Buddha.
Here we are at Phuket’s big Buddha. This Buddha measures 45 meters in height and looks over southern Phuket. From most of southern Phuket you can see the Buddha and as you can see the complex has not been completed yet. What ever you buy at the complex goes towards funding the completion of the Buddha.
Thalang Road the most famous street in Phuket town. They recently applied for UNESCO World Heritage recognition. The street is made up of seno Portugues mansions and shop houses which have been rebuilt, re-painted and remodeled. On the ground level their cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
Patong Beach is the most touristic beach on the island. The beach has cafes, watersport activities and restaurants. It is a beautiful beach so you have to see it when in Phuket!
Another beautiful beach is Surin Beach, which is only a 15 minute drive north of Patong Beach. This is the perfect place to get a quite lunch, take a dip or go snorkeling.
Lastly we have Bang Tao Beach, this is a more family oriented beach, its less touristy and more relaxing. Phuket has many more beaches not just these three. The western coast is easier for swimming and the eastern coast tends to be more muddy.
We head out to Phang Nga Bay with Captain Mark’s Alternative tours. We signed on for a full day speed boat tour. First stop is Ko Lao Landing island to visit paradise beach. Next up we visit a 1000 year old bodhi tree.
We then head to Koh Panyi Village, a 1000 person muslim village. The families have been there for over two hundred years. Lastly we visit Panak Island to visit a dark cave, secret lagoons and a haunted pirates cave.
That was things to see and do in Phuket, Thailand! Comment below if you have been or want to go!

City Description:
Phuket City, on Phuket Island, is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. In the Old Town, Thalang Road is lined with colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles, shuttered windows and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history. The Shrine of the Serene Light is an 1889 Chinese temple with Taoist etchings on the walls and ceramic sculptures on the roof. Dating back at least 200 years, Wat Put Jaw is a Chinese Buddhist temple dedicated to Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy. Next door is the Jui Tui Shrine, with ornate carvings of guardians on the doors. The Phuket Trickeye Museum is an interactive art gallery with paintings that create a 3D effect. Northwest of the center, Rang Hill has lush, landscaped gardens and a summit lookout. On its slopes, Wat Khao Rang temple features a large, golden Buddha statue.
Weather and Events:
Phuket City has a tropical monsoon climate, with warm temperatures year-round. A popular time to visit is during the dry season (Dec–Mar), when it’s sunny and cooler. Monsoon season (May–Oct) sees frequent heavy rain. The Vegetarian Festival (Sep/Oct) involves several days of self-mortification ceremonies, such as fire-walking and body piercing, in the belief that invoking the gods and abstaining from meat will bring good health. The King’s Cup Regatta (Dec) is an international yachting event in the Andaman Sea.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT PHUKET?
December to April. These months are the driest. Not surprisingly, they also make up the biggest chunk of the island’s high season. January to February is the coolest period, perfect for sightseeing, but it’s also the most crowded.
Patong is Phuket’s flagship beach. It is what Kuta Beach is to Bali,
and White Beach to Boracay. It is the most popular, most developed, and not surprisingly, most crowded beach in the island. Aside from swimming, sun bathing,
and just walking along the shore, you can enjoy other activities like:
Jet ski: ฿15000 per 30 minutes
Water ski: ฿1200 per 15 minutes
Wakeboard: ฿1200 per 15 minutes
Parasailing: ฿1200 per person
Banana Boat: ฿600 per person
A vibrant nightlife also takes over the island, especially Patong Beach.
Clubs and bars flank its streets. A visit can leave you culture shocked,
if you know what I mean.
PHI PHI ISLANDS AND MAYA BAY
The Phi Phi Islands are some of the most famous beach destinations in Thailand.
The archipelago is actually within the territory of nearby Krabi Province,
but it can be conveniently reached from Phuket. Karst cliffs rise from clear,
turquoise waters, as though ushering visitors in. If you’ve been to El Nido,
it’s very much like it. The largest island in the group is Ko Phi Phi Don,
while the second largest is Ko Phi Phi Le.

Dr. Thomas Lodi Teams With The LifeCo Clinic Phuket Thailand
Dr. Thomas Lodi has brought his expertise and extensive experience to The LifeCo Clinic located in beautiful Phuket Thailand. For the past 4-5 years, Dr. Lodi has been consulting for The LifeCo Clinic in Phuket and with several different clinics in Bangkok.
Dr. Lodi wanted to take the time in this video to show you why he has decided to focus all of his time now in Phuket with The LifeCo Clinic. The main reason for this for everyone to understand is that this is a healing center as opposed to a treatment facility.
There is a huge difference between a healing center and a treatment facility, and I have discussed this many times over the recent past. In a treatment facility what they’re saying is “your sick and we are going to fix you”. That paradigm just doesn’t work.
What’s happening when someone is not well, especially with cancer, is that they are about to embark on a journey to healing and that journey towards healing needs to happen in a healing center. Let’s review some of the reasons why I’m focusing my efforts here in Phuket.
There is an outside covered dining area where raw food is prepared and served. This is where we teach people how to prepare raw food, how to sprout, how to ferment and all the various tools you need to make yourself a healthy meal. Once you leave here without cancer, you now know how to prepare delicious healthy raw meals at home.
The LifeCo Clinic healing center is located on a small little lake in Phuket, very serene. There are several sections here including a massage sala, a yoga sala, and a spa. Most of all what we have here are places to be quiet. We have places to contemplate and get away from the madness that we all live in.
And then we have the main healing center building where on the bottom floor we have infrared sauna’s, colon hydrotherapy rooms and Angel of water rooms. Upstairs, we have all of the IV therapies.
All of this and more is why I came here to this center in Phuket. I wanted to bring all the aspects of a healing center together and this is the only place I have found outside of the states that does it all.
I founded An Oasis of Healing in Mesa, AZ in 2006 and it is the flagship. It is where it all started and now, we are moving internationally here in Phuket with a true healing center. We need to get back to nature.

Patong Beach - Local bus from Patong Beach to Phuket Town - Phuket attractions
We are in Patong Beach which lies on the island of Phuket in Thailand. My wife and I have decided that we would like to visit Phuket Town for the day, and rather than take a taxi there we would like to try the normal public transportation services. Our bus (the Patong Beach Bus Stop) is located right down in the Southern end of Patong Beach actually almost opposite or close to the Patong Merlin Hotel.
The journey to Phuket Town from Patong Beach cost around 50 Baht and probably took alot longer than a taxi. The ride was however very pleasant and it was a good way to mingle with the local Thai people who where also heading for Phuket Town. The bus was eventually full, yet there was always space for one more person. Nice to see the younger generation offering their seats too the older people. Phuket Town is definitely one of the main must see attractions on Phuket Island. Wherever you are living we highly recommend that you try getting there by local bus.
Our footage starts on Patong Beach Road. Watch out for Tuk Tuks, Bangla Boxing Stadium announcements, the Patong beachfront, Jet skis, the Patong Merlin Hotel, McDonalds, Burger King...
Hope you enjoy the video. Please feel free to leave a Comment, Question, Like and/or Subscribe to our channel for more travel videos like this.
