Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and it’s known for its beaches, incredible views and it’s nightlife. Today I am going to be showing you Phuket’s top attractions.
There are over 25 Buddhist temples on the island and Wat Chalong is the most famous. It’s a three story temple and it’s well known because it houses a bone relic of the Buddha.
Here we are at Phuket’s big Buddha. This Buddha measures 45 meters in height and looks over southern Phuket. From most of southern Phuket you can see the Buddha and as you can see the complex has not been completed yet. What ever you buy at the complex goes towards funding the completion of the Buddha.
Thalang Road the most famous street in Phuket town. They recently applied for UNESCO World Heritage recognition. The street is made up of seno Portugues mansions and shop houses which have been rebuilt, re-painted and remodeled. On the ground level their cafes, restaurants and boutiques.
Patong Beach is the most touristic beach on the island. The beach has cafes, watersport activities and restaurants. It is a beautiful beach so you have to see it when in Phuket!
Another beautiful beach is Surin Beach, which is only a 15 minute drive north of Patong Beach. This is the perfect place to get a quite lunch, take a dip or go snorkeling.
Lastly we have Bang Tao Beach, this is a more family oriented beach, its less touristy and more relaxing. Phuket has many more beaches not just these three. The western coast is easier for swimming and the eastern coast tends to be more muddy.
We head out to Phang Nga Bay with Captain Mark’s Alternative tours. We signed on for a full day speed boat tour. First stop is Ko Lao Landing island to visit paradise beach. Next up we visit a 1000 year old bodhi tree.
We then head to Koh Panyi Village, a 1000 person muslim village. The families have been there for over two hundred years. Lastly we visit Panak Island to visit a dark cave, secret lagoons and a haunted pirates cave.
That was things to see and do in Phuket, Thailand! Comment below if you have been or want to go!

Where to shop and what to buy in Phuket Thailand.
The shopping malls in Phuket are the same as you might find anywhere in the western world. Banks & ATMs, clothes, food courts, Thai food, fast food, groceries, watches, telephones, groceries, electrical goods, furniture and toys are all available, along with loads of other items. If you're coming to Phuket Thailand and want to shop, you'll find plenty of shops and shopping centres in Phuket! Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food, or to buy groceries and fruit while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all around Thailand, and heaps around Phuket. At the markets you'll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it for 3 years in Thailand and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!
The markets in Thailand are a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You'll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at a Thai market is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.
Make sure you check out some Thai Food Markets on your Phuket holiday, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that's available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!
Subscribe to my channel for my latest blog and for more videos on what to do in Thailand and what to eat in Thailand. New Thailand videos posted every Wednesday about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.
Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.
If you're looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi's Koh Phi Phi Island.

Top 5 Things To Do In Phuket
Hello Everyone this is my Trip to Phuket, Thailand day 2
I hope you like this video......
-Patong Beach
Patong is the most famous beach resort on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play.
-Patong Beach Market
Patong Beach transforms into a large night bazaar every evening, when all the main roads become clogged with stalls selling handicrafts, silk scarves, sarongs and a variety of beach clothes, leisure wear, leather goods and luggage, CDs, computer games and electronic gadgets and toys.
-Old Town Phuket
Old Phuket Town, is an area of historical interest in Phuket City. The main streets of Old Phuket Town are Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk, and Yoawarat. Old Phuket Town is noted for Sino-Portuguese buildings on both sides of the street.
-Kata Beach
Kata Beach is a pleasant bay, just a few minutes south of Karon Beach, which entices and charms many visitors with its white sands and clear waters. Very popular with families, Kata is an all-round favourite due to its spectacular palm-lined beach, great restaurants, lively but not raucous nightlife and varied accommodation options – all close to the beach. From May to October surfers flock to catch Kata's waves and from November to April the beach is alive with sunseekers.
-Bangla Road
Bangla Road really comes to life once the sun sets. The road is closed to vehicle traffic and becomes a 400 metre festival of neon lights, loud music and cheap beer. Jammed most nights of the year, it is quite a friendly and lively place to walk around as bars and clubs compete with each other for customers. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Phuket, Bangla Road should be your first (and, often, only) stop.

City Description:
Phuket City, on Phuket Island, is the capital of Thailand’s Phuket Province. In the Old Town, Thalang Road is lined with colorful 19th-century shophouses and Sino-Portuguese buildings. Built in 1903 by a wealthy tin merchant, Baan Chinpracha mansion has Italian floor tiles, shuttered windows and antique furniture. Set in a 1930s manor, the Thai Hua Museum has exhibits on Phuket’s culture and history. The Shrine of the Serene Light is an 1889 Chinese temple with Taoist etchings on the walls and ceramic sculptures on the roof. Dating back at least 200 years, Wat Put Jaw is a Chinese Buddhist temple dedicated to Kuan Yin, the goddess of mercy. Next door is the Jui Tui Shrine, with ornate carvings of guardians on the doors. The Phuket Trickeye Museum is an interactive art gallery with paintings that create a 3D effect. Northwest of the center, Rang Hill has lush, landscaped gardens and a summit lookout. On its slopes, Wat Khao Rang temple features a large, golden Buddha statue.
Weather and Events:
Phuket City has a tropical monsoon climate, with warm temperatures year-round. A popular time to visit is during the dry season (Dec–Mar), when it’s sunny and cooler. Monsoon season (May–Oct) sees frequent heavy rain. The Vegetarian Festival (Sep/Oct) involves several days of self-mortification ceremonies, such as fire-walking and body piercing, in the belief that invoking the gods and abstaining from meat will bring good health. The King’s Cup Regatta (Dec) is an international yachting event in the Andaman Sea.

Art Thomya, a Thai singer/songwriter, will show you the charms of ANI PRIVATE RESORT, a luxury private resort in Koh Yao Noi, a peaceful island with 30-min boat ride from Phuket, Southern Thailand.
++++++++++
MY FAMILY PRIVATE TRIPin Koh Yao Noi, Thailand EP1/2
I am from Southern Thailand. This time, I chose Koh Yao Noi for this special Family trip. It will be really PRIVATE...like we'll own the resort. Wanna see how? Follow us!
In Thailand now, it is easy to fly with Vietjet, there are several daily flights from Bangkok to Chiangmai, Chiang Rai, Krabi, and of course Phuket. They also have direct flights from Bangkok to several destinations in Vietnam, making it so convenient to travel for a short or long trip. For Phuket, they even have a great one-day tour to Phi Phi islands with a reasonable price.
Here we are, PHUKET, the Pearl of The Andaman! Just 20 min-drive from Phuket Airport, we've arrived Bang Rong Pier where we're gonna catch a speed boat to Koh Yao Noi. It'll take us another 30 mins to the island.
Wow! We have a private car from the resort to pick us up. So good! Koh Yao Noi is not far from Phuket at all, but it is more peaceful and more private. The island is in Phang Nga province where other world's famous places are located such as James Bond Island and Similan National Park. You'll get to see spectacular views of limestone islands scattered around Phang Nga Bay. This is a unique view you don't get to see anywhere else.
Alright, here I'm back at my favourite place for my family. - ANI PRIVATE RESORT.
Sometimes, when you've been working hard for months and you really need a break, it is important to choose well where you will spend this quality time with your family or your loved ones. I love Koh Yao Noi and I am always back here at ANI because they have not many number of rooms, so when we book, it will be only our group at the resort. So, it is very private.
I am glad to enjoy my time with my cousin's family. My nephew and niece will be here too. We can't wait to explore the resort and the island together.
This place is so special. I am excited to know that many of the world's celebrities have stayed here! They have family rooms which are beachfront - so spacious.
In the middle of the property lies a large infinity pool which, I can say, has one of the best views in Thailand. For me, I choose to stay in a room with a private pool in the middle of the room. This is so cool for me as I can jump in the pool from 3 sides - bedroom, dressing room, or bath room. I love it!
The pools, the playgrounds, the rooms, we feel so comfortable walking around the resort with our pyjamas or swimming suits with no worry! There's only us in this private luxury resort!
Hey! Look at the view! This is probably the most beautiful place to hang out with your loved ones. We'll defenitely enjoy our dinner here this evening. But before that, let's have some fun on the beach!
Alright, that's only the first part of our trip story, please stay tuned for the next episode. We're gonna explore Koh Yao Noi together more!
Thanks to Vietjet's several daily flight options between Bangkok and Phuket. Hope you were happy watching. Stay tuned for the next episode. Please subscribe!
