JAPAN TRIP: PART IV GINZA TOKYO
This is my final vlog from my Japan Trip. We spent 24 hours in Tokyo and focuses on the Ginza district. I incurred a ton of data loss on my memory cards from this part of the trip, but hopefully it's still fun to watch. We all had a blast, starting the first night with some super late night soba, and a helpful Japanese women who helped translate the menu. The next day we woke up super early and plowed through the breakfast buffet and headed to the Senso-Ji Temple and Market. We played around in the subway for a little bit, ate some octopus, frolicked around in the market, got our fortunes, then ended the day with some sushi.
On our way to the airport we met a new friend, drank some Sapporo and Shochu and had tons of laughs...right up until our sleepy bus driver almost crashed the bus. NO JOKE. The bus driver fell asleep 4-5 times and almost crashed.

My Kyoto highlights + Day trip to Nara//Japan travel//solo female traveler
These are my highlights from my time in Kyoto, plus a day trip to Nara.
I went to:
*The Kiyomizu Dera temple - I highly recommend it for sunset, best view of the city, with the beautiful golden hour.
*Arashiyama Bamboo Forest - Definitely come early, before 8a or 9a to beat the crowds, I probably could have skipped this.
*Fushimi Inari Shrine - I came early, and super glad I did! Also its a mountain, so if you wanna see the whole complex be prepared for a minimum 45 min hike up a lot of stairs to the top of the mountain.
*Day trip to Nara - Don't skip Nara Park, it is probably one of the best times I had. I paid 150 yen to feed the deer and it was a blast.
*Yasaka Shrine - Didn't realize that at night it is all lit up with beautiful purple lights. A lot of street venders also line up their stalls and I got to try the famous takoyaki, which is basically a pancake ball with octopus inside.
I really love this city, all the old city vibes really allowed me to imagine Japan 100 years ago!
.
Hi! I'm Cheraya, a Minnesota girl, and I'm taking a year off work brewing coffee to travel around the world. I love to explore and experience new to me destinations and places that are rich in culture and history. TOKYO TRIP 2017
Finally visited my dream city to travel in Asia! We stayed for almost a week and tried to visit as many places as we can. There's so much to eat, so much to see that's why, even if this video is almost 5 mins. long already, it doesn't say so much of our whole experience in Tokyo.
DAY 1 - Lunch at Ichiran Ueno, Ueno Park, Ameyayokocho, Asakusa area night stroll, Don Qui!
Since we waited for our AirBnB host to go home after work, we strolled around the Ueno area and had lunch, coffee and snacks. We rode the Keisei Liner Ueno coz it's near our host's place in Inaricho (between Ueno and Asakusa). We just rented out lockers for our luggages and waited for him. Super nice, English-speaking host. I recommend his place coz it's accessible to the Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway -- cheapest line to navigate the city.
DAY 2 - All day in Akihabara (coz toys) and Senso-Ji Temple at night, night cap at Isomaru
DAY 3 - Edo-Tokyo Museum, late lunch at Tsukiji Fish Market, Advertising Museum of Tokyo in Dentsu, New Japan Pro Wresting Shop in Suidobashi near Tokyo Dome, Tokyo Dome area, yakitori dinner and drinks under the train at Yurakucho Alley (super tired by this time)
DAY 4 - Meiji Shrine, Takeshita Street in Harajuku, Omotesando Hills, Tower Records in Shibuya, lunch with Teru at Shibuya Hikarie (mall), Tokyu Hands, underground anime toy and manga shops, Hachiko, tsukemen dinner in Rokurinsha Ramen Street under the Tokyo Shinkansen Station
DAY 5 - (Really really tired so we got up late) Yushukan War Museum, Yasukini Shrine, Shimokitazawa, Roponggi Hills, Mori Art Museum (N. S. Harsha: Charming Journey), Tokyo City View, Omoide Yokocho/Piss Alley in Shinjuku dinner, Golden Gai
DAY 6 - (I just wanted to sleep by this time) Gundam at Diver City Tokyo, cheese fondue lunch at Cheese Craft Works, Aoyama Flower Market, Back in Akihabara for some last minute shopping (Don Qui!), green tea coffee and chill. Was planning to go to Kawagoe, but almost a week of walking is exhausting, but fun of course!
DAY 7 - Fly back to Manila via the Keisei Liner in Ueno.
Can't wait to go back to Tokyo or visit Osaka! :)

Japan Trip 2013 Tokyo Akihabara Station Night view ElectricTown exit Trains run of Yamanote Line 24
Yamanote Line
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Yamanote Line (山手線 Yamanote-sen) is railway loop line in Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It is one of Tokyo's busiest and most important lines, connecting most of Tokyo's major stations and urban centres, including the Yūrakuchō/Ginza area, Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, with all but two of its 29 stations connecting to other railway or underground (subway) lines.
The Yamanote Line as an official line name indicates the tracks between Shinagawa and Tabata that is used by local trains on their own tracks as well as the parallel Yamanote Freight Line which is used by Saikyō Line and Shōnan-Shinjuku Line trains, some limited express services, and freight trains. However, in everyday usage the Yamanote Line refers to the entire 34.5 km loop line served by local trains. (This article uses the same definition.)
Akihabara
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Akihabara (Japanese: 秋葉原), also known as Akihabara Electric Town (Japanese: 秋葉原電気街 Hepburn: Akihabara Denki Gai), is a district of Tokyo, Japan. It is located less than five minutes by rail from Tokyo Station. Its name is frequently shortened to Akiba (アキバ) in Japan. While there is an official locality named Akibahara, which is also 秋葉原 in kanji, nearby (as part of Taitō-ku), the area known to most people as Akihabara (including the railway station of the same name) also include Soto-Kanda, a part of Chiyoda-ku.
Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, games and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chōme. New parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and similar items are found in the cramped passageways of Soto Kanda 1-chōme (near the station). Foreign tourists tend to visit the big name shops like Laox or other speciality shops near the station, though there is more variety and lower prices at locales a little further away. Akihabara gained some fame through being home to one of the first stores devoted to personal robots and robotics.
The area was just out of Sujikai-gomon city gate (present Mansei bridge) which was one of the city gates (Mitsuke) of old Edo (Tokyo). It was the gateway from inner Edo to northern and northwestern Japan and Kan'ei-ji temple in Ueno. Many dealers, craftsmen and relatively lower class samurai lived there.
Akihabara Station
Akihabara Station (秋葉原駅 Akihabara-eki) is a railway station located in Tokyo's Chiyoda ward. It is at the center of the famous Akihabara shopping district specializing in electronic goods.

☆Bits of knowledge〜Matsumoto castle〜
Matsumoto Castle (松本城 Matsumoto-jō) is Japan’s oldest castle. It also known as the “Crow Castle” (烏城 Karasu-jo) because of its black exterior. Matsumoto Castle is the oldest existing castle in Japan and one of Japan’s premier historic castles.
With 400 years of history, Matsumoto Castle is a National Treasure that every Japan visitor should see. Formerly called Fukashi Castle, it was a branch castle of the Ogasawara family during the long period of the warring states. It is located in the city of Matsumoto, in Nagano Prefecture and is within easy reach of Tokyo, Nagano and Hakuba by road or rail (see getting to Matsumoto below). Matsumoto Castle is a flatland castle (hirajiro) because it is not built on a hilltop or amid rivers, but on a plain. Its complete defences would have included an extensive system of inter-connecting walls, moats and gatehouses.

【Live】Checking sakura in Anderson park, Chiba. And beyond.
As one of viewers recommended I'm going to Andersen park. I made this public while not sure if it's ok to film inside. If not I will walk back to the station with lively rural views still with a lot of sakura. After the park I will also continue live walking back to the station.
Using Low Latency which has around 15 sec lag.
RULES
* Mention my name as @Rambalac or @RambalacLive if you want ask to make something closer or check other directions.
* Before asking check if you are really watching most recent live by clicking Live button.
* If you suggest direction do not use here as here for you is 5-10 sec past for me. Ask at least 10 sec before turn, or use big enough landmark like traffic lights or shop names.
For AfterLive discussions I created Discord server . Probably I will join to LiveStream voice channel during filming but why filming I will answer only into Youtube chat.
4K archive of this live event will be uploaded about same day but 1 hour video takes up to a week to be processed by Youtube to full 4K quality. So be patient and check .
EQUIPMENT
Streamed in 1080 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Cerevo LiveShell X encoder.
