National Gallery of Art in DC - PART 1 of 3
My wife Jessica and I took some clips of our favorite pieces at the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. during our trip earlier this month. I thought music from The Flaming Lips' new album Embryonic worked well as a soundtrack. This video is available in HD.
This is part 1 of 3 and consists of art from the main building. You'll see the only Leonardo Da Vinci portrait in the Western hemisphere! I will upload part 2 and 3 soon. Those are my favorites because they are all from the East building with contemporary art.
Sunday trip to the National Gallery of Art
Scenes from our Sunday trip to the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. We usually start in the east building, with modern art, and ride the people mover under the courtyard. We then walk past the waterfall, and then take the elevator up into the main level of the west building, which has classic art and sometimes beautiful flower arrangements around the fountains.
