Evald Flisar - To nisem jaz
Evald Flisar spada med najbolj mednarodno priznane, uveljavljene in prevajane slovenske pisatelje. Njegova literarna dela izhajajo v številnih jezikih (doslej so izšla v 142-ih prevodih), njegove drame uspešno uprizarjajo po celem svetu (Evropa, Indija, Indonezija, Japonska, Egipt itn.).

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding

SUMMARY
=======
The National and University Library (Slovene: Narodna in univerzitetna knjižnica, NUK), established in 1774, is one of the most important national educational and cultural institutions of Slovenia. It is located in the centre of Ljubljana, between Auersperg Street (Turjaška ulica), Gentry Street (Gosposka ulica), and Vega Street (Vegova ulica), in a building designed by the architect Jože Plečnik in the years 1930–31 and constructed between 1936–41. The building is considered one of the greatest achievements by Plečnik. According to the Mandatory Publications Copy Act, issuers are bound to submit a copy of each publication they publish to the National and University Library.
In 2011, the library kept about 1,307,000 books, 8,700 manuscripts, and numerous other text, visual and multimedia resources, and was (in 2010) subscribed to 7900 periodicals. Books and other resources are kept at storehouses at Auersperg Street (Turjaška ulica) and at Leskošek Street (Leskoškova cesta). There have been significant problems with a lack of space and a new modern building has been planned to be built in the vicinity.
Plečnik in Brioni - dar Lojzeta Gostiše

Day tour in Ljubljana , Slovenia HD
Ljubljana is Slovenia's capital and largest city. It's known for its university population and green spaces, including expansive Tivoli Park. The curving Ljubljanica River, lined in outdoor cafes, divides the city's old town from its commercial hub. Ljubljana has many museums, including the National Museum of Slovenia, displaying historic exhibitions, and the Museum of Modern Art, home to 20th-century Slovene paintings and sculptures. Ljubljana hosts many distinctive structures by native 20th-century architect Jože Plečnik, including the iconic Tromostovje (Triple Bridge) over the river. Many notable sites are near the Tromostovje. These include the Prešernov Trg (central square), with art nouveau buildings and a turn-of-the-century statue of the plaza's namesake poet, France Prešeren. Nearby, the baroque domed cathedral has twin towers. Moving south, Plečnik's palazzo-style National and University Library features Roman archaeological remnants at its base. The hilltop Ljubljana Castle, a medieval fortress, is connected to old town by a funicular. Like our facebook page for daily blogs :

Cathedral of Freedom / Hommage to Joze Plecnik
Cathedral of Freedom / Plečnik Parliament (Slovene: Plečnikov parlament) is the colloquial name of two designs for a building intended to house the legislature of the People's Republic of Slovenia within the second Yugoslavia. Formally known as the Slovene Acropolis and the Cathedral of Freedom (Slovenska akropola / Katedrala svobode), the two designs were proposed in 1947 by Slovenia's most eminent architect, Jože Plečnik, but were rejected in favour of a more conventional design.
A square, colonnaded false façade would have surrounded the cylindrical main building of two stories, surmounted by a tall, spirally tapering conical cupola. Supported internally by inclined columns, the cupola would have spanned the parliament chamber. The facade would have measured 50 m in length, the tower rising to 120 m. Several slightly varying designs were produced, some including a second colonnade wrapping the second floor of the main building, different porticoes, or an asymmetrical ground floor.
