Captan en video y fotos a 5 especies de felinos en Oaxaca
OAXACA, Oax., 28 de julio de 2017.- Comuneros de la Villa Díaz Ordaz lograron grabar con cámaras de ‘fototrampeo’ a cinco especies de felinos en sus bosques.
En su área protegida de bosque llamada “danii iido” (cerro iglesia) colocaron siete cámaras que les permitió registrar en foto y video a felinos como el puma, jaguar, tigrillo, lince y yaguarundi.
El presidente de bienes comunales, Urbino Santiago dijo “aunque no tenemos una gran extensión de bosque, nos enorgullece que en nuestros bosques existan cinco de las seis especies que se tiene registro en América”.
David Miguel, secretario de bienes comunales, comentó que han captado unos siete pumas y una hembra con su cachorro, además de algunos venados….
Por ello, en coordinación con las instancias correspondientes seguirán trabajando para cuidar y preservar estas especies.
El municipio de Villa Díaz Ordaz se ubica en la región de los Valles Centrales, a unos 40 kilómetros de la ciudad de Oaxaca.
