We stopped in to visit Nelson Falls on our way to Strahan in March this year and what can I say Tasmania! You put on the water works for us. We really enjoyed this waterfall even though we got a bit wet from the spray haha ????????????????????????
Nelson Falls
One of Tasmania's 60 Short Walks, Nelson Falls is an easy 20 minute return stroll along a well made track. It is located just off the Lyell Highway about thirty minutes away from Queenstown. If you're driving through, make sure you stop here!

The Nelson Falls are a 30m cascade waterfall, located in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Tasmanian Wilderness, in the West Coast region of Tasmania, Australia. (Wikipedia)
The short 20 minute walk was a worthy stop on our drive into Hobart from the West Coast, providing a perfect opportunity to stretch the legs and use the facilities. The falls are located between Queenstown and Derwent Bridge.
