Classic route, Jiri to Everest Base Camp is the beautiful, timeless and also historic way to the top of the world marched by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary in 1953 AD, the first time men conquered the majestic mountain that stands 8848m tall. Another route to Everest, is directly flying to Lukla. Beautiful valley of Jiri, famous as Switzerland of Nepal, is in itself a marvelous valley, home to around 16000 population. Seven-day route to Everest base camp from Jiri, located 183 km north-east of Kathmandu, has now become the most favored route for climbers to reach the roof of the world.
Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking package from Nepal Eco Adventure consist of sightseeing of world heritage sites in historical capital city of Nepal. The exploratory footpath journey to Everest starts from Jiri (1,905m), also known popularly as gateway to Everest.
