迫川尚子、中村正義展を撮る 2012.4.1 Nerima Art Museum
2012 Nerima Art Museum
中村正義のことは、反権力画家集団「人人展」を通じて知りました。
人人展のもう片方のボス、山下菊二のいきなり内臓が鷲づかみされるコラージュや絵画を、このすさまじい表現の衝動は、戦争体験からきているのかと、無理にでも言葉にしてのみこむほかありませんでした。とにかく日本はこれを国宝にしなければ！
そして大ボス、中村正義の「顔」シリーズと出会い、どの絵もまさに「顔がすべて」なのですが、すべては絵におさまっていないというか、絵を見ている自分のすべてが顔になって絵を突き抜けていくというか、単に「絵を見ている」ではすまない不思議な体験をしました。
正義自身の面長な顔写真を眺めながら、お会いしたこともないし、８年前にすでに亡くなられていたのですが、そのことがどうもふにおちませんでした。少なくとも過去の画家じゃない。現在形、未来形の画家。
また腕・量・スケールからいったら、ピカソとか北斎クラスの画家じゃないでしょうか！
あれから３０年近くたつというのに、正義はまだ知る人ぞ知る画家。なんで？正義自身が、画壇にたてついたり、お金持ちのために絵を描かなかったりしたから？それとも評論家やメディアが怠慢だから？と正直ダダこねたい気持ちです。
12年前になりますが、ベルクでは、光栄にも開店10周年を記念する壁の展示として「顔」シリーズ（複製）をやらせていただいたことがあります。
最近は豊橋、それに続く今回の練馬で本格的な回顧展が催されました。衝撃があちこちで静かにじわじわと走っているのが、ネットなどの反応を見てもリアルに伝わってきます。
「中村正義の美術館」の館長であり、正義の娘でもあるのりこさんの地道で粘り強いお仕事と絵そのものの力が、歴史の隠蔽・忘却に抵抗し、中村正義の名を呼び戻しつつあるのです。
映像は、その練馬展の最終日の様子です。迫川が写真撮影したものをムービーにしました。
車椅子を押されているのがのりこさん。車椅子にのられているのがのりこさんのお母様、つまり正義の妻（絵の一部を手伝ったことがあるので、ある意味共作者）です。
音楽は、恐れ多くも私がつけさせていただきました。
毎回、未知の作品に出会え、新たな発見があります。今回の展示は「ポップ・アート」で爆発する寸前の60年（私が生まれた年）頃の妖しい絵の蠢きに不意をつかれました。
「顔」シリーズの部屋は、正義が実際に並べたとおりに再現したそうです。そりゃもう圧巻でした。

2014 Japan Trip - Toei Animation Gallery! (Part 1)
Here's probably one of the most EPIC things we saw during our stay in Tokyo. My friend and I decided to visit the Toei Animation Gallery, which happens to be in the same building that also was responsible for actually creating some of the best Anime series of all time, such as One Piece, Dragonball Z, Slam Dunk, Sailor Moon, and many others!
