Agios Ioannis Beach is rated as one of Sithonia’s top 10 beaches and one of the best beaches in Halkidiki.
Just driving by from the south gives you a spectacular view of this long sandy strip and you just need to stop to have a dip.
The beautiful beach is located just south of Nikiti on Sithonia’s western coast. Facing south, the beach gets brilliant sun from morning to evening. This sandy beach has beach bars and is organized in the summer months with sun beds and umbrellas. On the far side there is place for campers and it has turned into a popular camping site.
The water is crystal clear and some parts have rock shelf where you need to be careful upon entering without water socks. The far end where the campers are parked has a sandy sea bottom that gives good access for children and families.
Being close to Nikiti, there are many choices for accommodation close by.
While in Halkidiki don’t miss the opportunity to check out one of Halkidiki’s most amazing beaches - Agios Ioannis.
