Nikon Museum Tour (Shinagawa, Japan)
Enjoy a full tour of the Nikon Museum in Shinagawa, Japan.
Loaded with history and exhibits not only from the photographic industry, but also from industrial engineering, medicine, and electronics.
See every Nikon camera and lens ever made. Over 1,000 exhibits.
The museum is very easy to access from Shinagawa station.
Take the Konan Exit and follow the signs to the Museum located in Tower C.
Entry is free and the museum is open from 10:00-18:00.
Photography/videography is permitted on the premises with the exception of exhibited works such as photographs, and any films playing within exhibition areas.
There were some very exotic lenses on display, for example the 6mm f2.8, and the 1200 to 1700 mm telephoto zoom lens.
You'll also find all product catalogs and information that you can take home for free. The staff even gave me a little carry bag. At the end of the video I show you the accessories and lens catalogs.
The video is in 4K, so you'll be able to pause and read most of the text throughout the video.
Even if you're not in Shinagawa but happen to be in Tokyo or Yokohama, I seriously think it's worth the trip. Highly recommended.
Anyway, thanks for watching. Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe.
If you have any questions let me know in the comments.

Golden Hour - Japan (Roppongi Hills Tokyo) - Panasonic GH5 Short Film
One of the most beautiful sunset I have ever experienced, usually I prefer the beach sunsets but being on top of a skyscrapper with an impressive view from the top of Mori Tower, a 238 meter high panoramic view is unparalleled by anything else in the city. It is an iconic, definitely once in a lifetime view that you will remember, It is an open air location with stunning 360 view of the great Tokyo region. Which you can also see the majestic Mt Fuji from afar.
This was a spontaneous day with my friend Alena where I did not plan to film but I had the feeling that I needed to capture the essence of my experience.Japan is definitely
Filmed with the GH5 + 12-35mm
Big Shout to Panasonic New Zealand my sponsor for hooking me up with the GH5 to use on my 3 recent world trips.

Kurama Shrine Health in Japan: Episode 1
Japan has an interesting history with health. Health is so integrated in their culture that is even a considerable part of their spiritual beliefs. I got to walk through Mount Kurama and see the many different types of shrines. People from all over gathered to pray for good health in the new year!
By the way I know that the footage is a little shaky...I will fix this once I get a chance but it takes some time since I am currently traveling. I'll repost a less shaky version in the future.
To learn more about Mount Kurama and the alternative medicine practice, Reiki, that was started at the Kurama shrines go to Belletense.com/Kurama

Unknown to many tourists who generally head towards more well known locations like Yamashita Park, Negishi Forest Park is something of an oasis hidden in an urban neighborhood setting. Known in Japanese as ‘Negishi Shinrin Koen’, this is one of the largest parks in Yokohama with a surface area covering over 1800 square meters.
Entering through the main entrance you will have several options of things to see. The observation platform may be best as this will help give you a good sense of the area’s geography. On clear days there are impressive views of Yokohama Landmark Tower and Mount Fuji.
Once you have judged the general layout follow the path on your right until you reach the Equine Museum and Pony Centre, which unsurprisingly contains several ponies and horses. This area is great for kids and horse lovers as it is possible to ride either on the third Sunday of most months from 13:30 pm until 14:20 pm. There is limited availability so turn up early!
Upon entering the park’s main section you cannot help but notice how its large oval shape reveals its former status as a race track, originally built over 70 years ago. Within this space of time the area has been transformed into beautiful open fields and forests containing a large plum grove, a nice pond and my personal favorite; numerous walking paths which are ideal for jogging. The paths around the pond and forests are especially pleasant and good for seeing plants, flowers and wildlife.
The vast open fields where the track was located provide a great place to have a picnic or relax throughout the year. If planning to spend several hours here, I would definitely recommend bringing your own food as there aren't any restaurants, food stands or unbelievably, convenience stores within a five minute walk.
Spring is a great time to come and admire the 350 plus cherry blossom trees, while summer is an excellent time to visit and escape the city heat. Any season is perfect to escape the city and enjoy the genuine peace and tranquility of the environment.

MinatoMirai Time Lapse in 8K みなとみらいタイムラプス
ここ最近に撮影した、みなとみらいタイムラプス映像まとめ。
Minato Mirai 21 is a seaside urban area in central Yokohama whose name means harbor of the future. It has many large high-rises, including the Landmark Tower, which was Japan's tallest building from 1993 until 2014. The area was a large shipyard until the 1980s, when development began to turn it into a new city center.
Minato Mirai is blessed with a great location along the water and has a wealth of attractions. Visitors to the area will be able to find shopping centers, hotels, a convention center, an amusement park, a relaxation center with hot spring baths, museums and park space.

Japon / Tokyo : Temple Zojo-ji (三縁山増上寺)
Very close from the Tokyo tower, Zōjō-ji temple (it can be also written Zojoji or sojoji for convenience) astonishes by the serenity which rules the place.
It is said that when someone crosses the Sangedatsu door (三 解脱 門), he frees 3 of his greatest vices : hatred, greed ans stupidity.

Minato No. 1 Bridge, Yokohama Port - Shinko Pier. Sefco Maritime series 1y (2010)
Quote/Unquote - Shinko Pier is located roughly in the centre of the Port of Yokohama. Constructed at the turn of the century between 1899 and 1917, it was the nation's first modern port and harbor facility. Although damaged by the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923, the pier is the only pier that still preserves historical facilities such as the Red Brick Warehouses and the 50 ton crane. (unquote).
Excerpted from city.yokohama.jp/me/port/en/overview/shinko.html
This series of short videos by SEFCO EXPORT includes images taken in and around both Yokohama Bay and Tokyo Harbor.
As an island nation, Japan has along history as well as current focus on maritime activities.
Its port museums reflect this history and interest; thousands of students go on tours of the museums which help stoke interest in and appreciation for maritime science ad commerce.
Included in this series, one can see: Lift-van crates stored in transit while on the docks at Yokohama Bay, covered by a large canopy, on the dock and out of doors. (Which leads us to the question: would your LCL cargo be well enough protected, to withstand the elements which dockside or in transit? Export packaging is crucial element to safe transport of sea-going cargo.)
Container ships staged at the docks andd working their cargo (loading/unloading) while on Yokohama port and Odaiba port in Tokyo Harbor.
Japanese customs house facilities, current location and past history of their operations; port control facilities run by the Japanese Coast Guard. Japanese SDF self defense force videos. Port wind & water turbines.
Historical perspectives: on and off board the Nippon Maru sailing training vessel; Yokohama Port museum, symbolic statuary for the sister port relationship between Yokohama and Vancouver ports,
dockyard photos - past and present, the Minato No. 1 Bridge - built 1906 by the American Bridge Company of New York.
Be sure to return to our web site to see additional videos and presentations, on the subjects: international trade and commerce, export and import operations, overseas moving and shipping of both personal and commercial cargo, roll on - roll off ships, container ships, LCL lift-van cargo, export packaging, international freight forwarding agent facilities,
overseas transport of high & heavy equipment , and special analysis of martime history, law and issues pertaining to
Sefco Export Management Company's business - including examinations of the nexus of culture, commerce, politics and national interests.
Yokohama railway station while its snowing, a glimpse of what its like
Main arterial railway stations in Japan are abuzz with people going to all parts of Tokyo. A Japanese railway station is a trainspotters paradise because there are all sorts and types of trains to see there. We are on our way to the Nikon HQ, to meet Tetsuro Goto, the creator of the Df. Of course, the fact that it is snowing quite hard adds to the adventure, for us. For most others, it seems like they would rather get away from the snow and cold. A glimpse into the what a Japanese arterial railway station is like.
