OSAKA Castle + Dotonburi 道頓堀 (Famous Food & Fluffy Cake) & Kyoto Red Gates | [OSAKA Vlog]
***Japan With Me - Episode 19 (Stream at 1080p for BETTER-QUALITY video)*** So we pick up where we left off in the previous episode. Kyoto is such a beautiful city. By the way, we are still in the ancient village near the Kiyomizu-dera temple area. We came across this Starbucks shop which is built and styled in the Japanese way, it was nice to experience that. Summer in Japan is quite hot and sweaty. We stayed at the Starbucks for a bit before moving on to the next spot! Our final destination in Kyoto is called Fushimi Inari Shrine where all the famous red gates are. By the time we got there, it was quite late so there were a lot of people. However, the experience was quite good. We got to take some good photos. It is so fascinating to see all of them! A third in the video, we are in OSAKA!!! The first destination is Osaka Castle! In the video we stumble into a concert hall! Hahaha .... no wonder there were a lot of old people there. Osaka Castle is so beautiful and very high up! It looks quite similar to the Nagoya Castle that I've been (Don't forget to check that episode out if you miss it!). To finish off the day, we went to Dotonburi shopping district. When you come to Osaka, you have to go to this place. It is kinda a MUST! Over there you can do everything. .... we mainly shopped and ate food!! Round 1 we went to a specialized takoyaki balls. They were quite good! We really enjoyed it. Round 2 we went to another restaurant about 10 minutes away from the Glico Running Man. At that time, my camera battery almost died so i recorded everything on my phone! It was good ... We stayed there for a bit until like 7:30 PM then we decided to quote up for the famous fluffy cake! My cousin told me that that cheesecake is really famous and we have to buy it. Of course, we bought it and ate on the train back to Nagoya!!! So DELICIOUS! Hahaha ... Thank you very much once again for watching. Don't forget to check out my other food videos and travel vlog series :) Follow me on IG @tovnadavid Kpop reaction channel Have a good day!

Kyoto, formerly the imperial capital where royalty held court for over 1000 years, is one of Japan’s most beautiful cities. In the 21st century Kyoto remains the cultural capital with over 2000 temples & shrines. Featuring: Kyoto Train Station, 400 year old Nishiki Market, Gion Teahouses and Arashiama District Gardens including Tenru-ji Zen Temple & Garden, Moss Garden & Bamboo Forest. Remarkably, twenty percent of Kyoto’s population is involved in the kimono industry making and displaying a wide variety of kimonos, with the most expensive and elaborate going to the traditional female Japanese entertainers... Geisha, Geiko and Maiko (Geisha in training). Maiko serve a several year apprenticeship and the viewer is introduced to one of these extraordinary young ladies. Cherry Blossoms are Japan's unofficial national flower. It has been celebrated for many centuries and holds a very prominent position in Japanese culture. Most of the cherry tree varieties only bloom for a couple of days in spring and festivals abound! Himeji Castle was never destroyed by war, earthquake or fire and survives in its original form today. It is considered one of three fine examples of Japanese Castle architecture in the world and is both a national treasure and a UNESCO world heritage site. Hiroshima is a graphic reminder of the costs of nuclear war. Miyajima Island (Shrine Island), once the sole bastion of holy men, is now a popular resort destination with several sites of historic significance, roaming deer and monkeys atop 1700’ Mount Misan.
