The North Station (Estación del Norte) is the main railway station in Valencia, Spain. It is located in the city centre next to the Plaza de Toros de Valencia, the city's bullring, and 200m from the town hall. It has connections with Metrovalencia lines 3 and 5, and the city bus network.
AVE (high-speed) trains from Madrid and some other long-distance trains use Valencia-Joaquín Sorolla railway station, a short walk away, instead.
This station is named for the Caminos de Hierro del Norte de España (Railways of the North of Spain), the railway company that constructed it and opened it in 1917, which was later nationalized and incorporated into RENFE, and later separated into Adif, the company that currently owns and runs it. It was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural (Good of Cultural Heritage, a type of listed monument) in 1987.
Dutch Symphonic Metal band Within Temptation performed at the station in July 2005 as a one-time event. The concert was filmed and broadcast on Spanish television.

The North Station (Spanish: Estación del Norte, Valencian: Estació del Nord) is the main railway station in Valencia, Spain. It is located in the city centre next to the Plaza de Toros de Valencia, the city's bullring, and 200m from the town hall.
The North Railway Station is a modernist jewel of the city, with Sezesión Vienesa style, was built between 1906 and 1917 by Valencian architect Demetrio Ribes. On the front façane you can see the most typical elements of valencian culture: oranges, barracas (valencian traditional house), La Albufera (the lake), women dressed with traditional valencian dress... Inside, the decoration of the vestibule is beatiful, and then there is the iron nave over the rail roads.

A day in Valencia and I finally get to vlog it. It was not my first time there but everytime we were there, I had no battery~
That day we went to Daniel first, to have breakfast. I tried natural horchata for the first time and it was delicious!
It was a long but fun day. First stop was the North Station. Just sightseeing this time but hopefully I'll get to have a train trip sometime!
Next stop was Mercado Central. The prettiest market I've seen so far. It was so crowded and everyone was taking pictures and videos of the place.

Valencia Estación del Norte to Coast by Renfe Train
Hello Hoppers! Once you get to Valencia you want to explore the city but you can also take a Renfe Train to the Coast, or the Valencia Shore, as I call it, for a beach vacation.
At the beautiful Estacio del Nord (North Station) train station (Xativa stop on the metro), I show you how I buy a ticket and take a short ride to the town of Cullera to relax by the beach for a few days.
As soon as I arrived, I got a warm welcome from some very active birds.
You'll see it is super easy to take public transportation to nearby beach towns in Valencia. I hope you find this helpful.

City of Arts and Sciences
An entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex. The most important modern tourist destination in the city. Situated at the end of the former riverbed of the river Turia.
Llotja de la Seda
A late Valencian Gothic style civil building. Built between 1482 and 1548. One of the principal tourist attractions in the city. UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.
Valencia Bioparc
A 10-hectare (25-acre) zoo. Has a large collection of African fauna. The concept of the zoo consists of immersing visitors into the animals' habitat and not vice versa.
Mercado Central
A public market. It is generally considered one of the oldest European markets still running. A popular location for tourists and locals alike.
L'Oceanogràfic
An oceanarium situated in the east of the city. Opened on 14 February 2003. The largest complex of its type in Europe. There are 45,000 animals of 500 different species including fish, mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates.
Torres de Serranos
One of the twelve gates that were found along the old medieval city wall. Considered one of Valencia's most iconic buildings and is one of the best conserved monuments in the city.
Plaza de Toros de Valencia
A bullring currently used for bull fighting. The stadium holds 10,500 people since 2010. It was built in 1841. Situated next to the North Station. Was built between 1850 and 1860. The architect was Sebastian Monleon.
Ibiza
An island in the Mediterranean Sea, 79 kilometres (49 miles) off the coast of the city. Well known for its summer club scene which attracts very large numbers of tourists.
Valencia Cathedral
A Roman Catholic parish church. Was consecrated in 1238 by the first bishop of Valencia after the Reconquista, Pere d'Albalat. One of the supposed Holy Chalices in the world is revered in one of this cathedral's chapels.
Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe
An important visitor attraction. Opened on 13 November 2000. It is over 40,000 square meters in area and resembles the skeleton of a whale. Everything in the museum is graphically displayed.

We have 2 train stations at the moment in Valencia, so be careful and check your train ticket to know where the train is leaving from.
It could be Estacion del Norte which is this beautiful train station of this video or it could be the new train station Joachim Sorolla. Usually, the fast trains to Madrid and Barcelona leave from the new train station and the regional trains from Estacion del Norte.
In deze video laat ik je graag het treinstation, Estación del Norte van Valencia zien. Deze dateert uit 1917 en het is nog steeds in gebruik.
