Tokyo Food Tour - Eat and Drink like a local in Tokyo with Ninja Food Tours
Enjoy local food and learn culture with Ninja Food Tours. We started offering food tours in February 2017 in Tokyo and now we offer food tours in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka.
For our food tours in Tokyo, we currently offer tours in Shinjuku, Tsukiji fish market, Yanaka, and Asakusa.
The Shinjuku Tour at night is a great intro to our Japanese pub food culture while visiting the major landmarks as well as higgen gems in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The Fish Market Tour is also popular as the Tsukiji Fish Market is the biggest fish market in the world! The current market is going to relocate to a new location in Ocotober 2018 so do not miss out when you visit Tokyo. We will introduce the market opreations and what those fish market workers eat on a daily basis. Tsukiji is not only about sushi.
In Tokyo we also offer the sake tasting classes and cooking classes in a small group.

Japan Trip Day 2 - Food, Meiji Jingu Garden, and Shopping at Harajuku!
The 2nd (and last..) day of Japan travel vlogs! (: We ate great food, walked around Meiji Jingu, and shopped at Harajuku street.
I accidentally spilled green tea on my camera and after getting it cleaned it still had trouble with fogging- so the rest of the footage annoyed me too much to continue filming until I got the issue sorted.
I hope to do more videos and vlogs again soon (: so stay tuned!

CAMERA & AUDIO EQUIPMENT I USE:
Camera: Sony RX100 M3 ►
Voiceover Mic: Samson Go Mic ►
In-Field Mic: Zoom H1 ►
Tripod: Manfrotto Pixi ►
EXPLANATION: I try to keep my equipment as simple as possible. 90% of the time, all I use to film is my Sony RX100 M3, and all I use for audio is my Samson Go Mic (which I use to record voiceovers after filming). Occasionally I use the Zoom H1 for audio if I want to record audio in-field. As for the Pixi tripod, I sometimes use it while filming food, but most of the time I use it to mount my Samson Go Mic on a desk for voiceovers (in conjunction with the other accessories, listed below).
MODULAR COMPONENTS I USE:
Smatree SmaPole S3 (hollow pole only) ►
Joby Action Arm (arm only) ►
Joby Hand Grip (hand grip only) ►
Joby Hub Adapter ►
EXPLANATION: Because I'm often traveling, I prefer to have the lightest, smallest, most versatile components available. Therefore, I use bits and pieces from the above gear sets, and these bits and pieces can be connected together in a huge variety of ways. For example, they can be made into a long selfie stick, they can be mounted to my tripod to make it extra-tall, and they can be used with my tripod and Go Mic to position the microphone directly in front of my face while I'm recording voiceovers at a desk.
MICROPHONE ACCESSORIES I USE:
Foam Mic Cover ►
Pop Filter ►
EXPLANATION: To improve sound quality for voiceovers, I place a mic cover on the Samson Go Mic, then use an elastic band to hang the pop filter on top. This is not the best audio protection available, but it is the most minimalistic and space-efficient gear for traveling. The mic cover can also be used on the rare occasion that I record audio with the Zoom H1.
GEAR I USE FOR CHARGING ON-THE-GO:
Anker Mini PowerBank ►
Silicone Cables ►
Adapter for Micro to Mini ►
Adapter for Micro to Lightning ►
EXPLANATION: Anker's lipstick-sized powerbanks are small yet powerful. I travel with two, so that if one has a low charge, I can charge it in my hotel while I'm out and about with the other powerbank. Using the powerbank in conjunction with the short, durable silicone cables and micro/mini/lightning adapters means I can charge just about any device while on-the-go.

OISHI! DELICIOUS HALAL LAMB SHABU-SHABU IN SHIBUYA!
Best Halal Food Joints in Japan!
A BIG Thank You to Halal Gourmet Japan & Halal Media Japan for making this happen and introducing me to all these great halal foods in Tokyo!
SHIBUYA is a special ward in Tokyo. A major commercial and business centre, it houses the two busiest railway stations in the world, Shinjuku Station and Shibuya Station. Also most famously known for its busy Shibuya street crossing which appeared in famous films such as Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift & also in Bill Murray's Lost in Translation. However tucked in this fame and chaos is HITSUJI NO YU, a joint that specializes in Halal Shabu-Shabu.
