Tokyo’s Harajuku - Omotesando Christmas Street Lights
Harajuku -Omotesando area is an amazing place for shopping and also for Tokyo Christmas Illuminations! The street light up is famous here and Omotesando Ave is often called the Champs de Elysee of Tokyo (not quite like Paris but sort of ...) Where is this? Omotesando Hills (center of the avenue)

Exploring Tokyo, Japan [Shibuya, Harajuku, Omotesando] ｜Day 102 - Tokyo
Shibuya 109 is a trend setting fashion complex for young women and an icon of the Shibuya district with more than one hundred boutiques on ten floors. Usually pronounced Shibuya ichi maru kyu, the complex's name can also be read as Shibuya to kyu, identifying the complex as part of the Tokyu Group.
Harajuku, a colorful and crazy town that has been creating it’s own original culture by engulfing the world’s most trendiest fashions and cultures. It is like a monster that swallows everything in its path and keeps expanding. Kawaii Monster Cafe is a reflection of this monster visualizing Harajuku. Upon entering, you will walk through the tongue of Mr. Ten thousand chopsticks(Choppy) and then come across the cake shaped Merry-go-round SWEETS GO ROUND and also the 4 unique areas called MUSHROOM DISCO,MILK STAND,Bar Experiment, and Mel-Tea ROOM. Wherever you are seated, you can enjoy the surrounding art created by Sebastian Masuda and colorful menus. Also the iconic Harajuku girls called “MONSTER GIRLS” will welcome you at your table. “MONSTER GIRLS” will welcome you at your table.
Just south of Takeshita Dori and over twice its length is Omotesando, a broad, tree lined avenue sometimes referred to as Tokyo's Champs-Elysees. Here you can find famous brand name shops, cafes and restaurants for a more adult clientele. The stylish Omotesando Hills complex was opened in 2006 and targets fashion conscious urbanites in their 30s and 40s, while Kiddy Land has hundreds of unique toys for kids of all ages.

As you can see in this video, illumination for Christmas is absolutely beautiful. Tans of people were walking on this beautiful street on the day. Japan Vlog - Tokyo shopping in Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and Akihabara

Another vlog from our trip to Tokyo. This video was recorded in the end of april. Here we are doing some shopping in Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya and Akihabara ~

There are so many places to shop all over Tokyo, and I won’t cover many of them here. I didn’t do that much shopping during this trip, but here are a few of the usual places that we visited.
Miss Saigon, Shibuya:
We started our day with some delicious vietnamese pho and spring rolls at a place in Shibuya, hidden away in a small building. The food was very delicious, but don't forget to ask for extra chili since they didn't add it (maybe they assumed we couldn't handle spices haha). And the restaurant had a sort of vietnamese vibe to it which I really liked.
Shinjuku station:
There are a lot of shopping malls in and around Shinjuku station. I quickly walked through Lumine EST to visit some of my favourite shops. I usually shop there, or at Studio Alta which is just outside the station. I didn’t go there this time tho.
Harajuku - Takeshita street:
A fashion loving teenagers paradise! Takeshita Dori (Takeshita Street) in Harajuku is a narrow, roughly 400 meter long street lined by shops, boutiques, cafes and, of course, crepes. Since it's a very popular street, it becomes extremely busy and crowded on the weekends.
We then took a walk through the quiet and lovely neighbourhood of Omotesando, and headed for Shibuya.
Shibuya 109:
With eight floors and two basement levels, navigating the iconic shopping mall of Shibuya 109 can be difficult. And it's usually very crowded on weekends. I always pick up a floor guide on my way in, so I know directly where to go. But despite the narrow and crowded space, it's still one of my favourite places to shop in Tokyo.
Akihabara:
My boyfriend Johan had no interest of joining my shopping crusade in Shibuya, so he headed over to Akihabara instead. Akihabara (also known as Akiba) is famous for its many electronics shops, as well as stores devoted to anime and manga. In other words - an otakus paradise!
Ichiryuu (一龍) in Komazawa
We ended our evening at Japanese style Korean BBQ restaurant located close to where our friends were staying. They had really good quality meat for a reasonable price, so of course we had to try as much of it as we could. I really enjoyed their kalbi. A good yakiniku restaurant if you happen to be in the neighbourhood.

Today we’re finishing our series exploring Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan. Today we’ll head to a few different places - among them, Yoyogi Park 代々木公園, Harajuku 原宿, Takeshita Street 竹下通り and Omotesando 表参道.
Shibuya is a big area that people usually confined to the famous crossing. There is, however, a want to do in this area of Tokyo! In this series, I will give you some ideas of what to do in Shibuya and how to get away from all of the crowds.
The purpose of this channel is to hopefully give people an honest look at life in Japan, give you the tools to experience it in an authentic way and get outside of the typical Japan Travel Tips. There is so much of Japan to see that isn’t covered in the typical guide books and I hope my future Tokyo vlog will help people access those experiences. For the first few months however, I will be putting out more of the typical Japan vlogs and helpful videos to get you around this city!

Walking in Tokyo, from Shibuya to Harajuku, Omotesando and Roppongi. 4K
What a day! Despite being quite far into November, we had what almost felt like a perfect summer day here in Tokyo. And you know that means I have to head out for a walk!
This time I started near Shibuya Station (metro Fukutoshin Line exit) and walked along Cat Street and Takeshita Dori until I reached JR Harajuku Station. I later continued along Omote Sando avenue all the way up to Omotesando Station and beyond entering Kita Aoyama area.
Originally it was my plan to stop filming there, but I had such a good time I decided to continue, exploring some quiet residental neighbourhoods nearby. Before I knew it, I had arrived at Roppongi Hills!
Unfortunately I had some issues with the ISO setting (I'm still new to the X-T3), so a few parts of this video ended up being shot at very high ISO accidentally. So sorry if the image quality is quite poor at a few places in this video...
This was filmed with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Laowa 9mm f2.8, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane for stability.
Shot in F-Log and graded in Adobe Premiere CC.
