Moving St Vincent's

St Vincents Church was donated to the township of Takapau circa 1895 by the Johnston family who owned the Oruawharo Homestead and surrounding farmland. In in 2011 the Church did not have enough attendees to warrant it conducting services, it was therefore donated to the present owners of Oruawharo Peter and Dianne Harris and will become a wedding and function venue.
